background installation

hi there,
as you know, the game installs some data in the background (literally it's installing data while you're playing the game).. how's it working? should i install this data in one session or it doesn't matter?
and what does happen when i quit the game? this should interrupt installation as i understand and may cause problems (bugs, glitches).. or is this differ from the ordinary installation?

Disc version of GT6 does (car ,data) install "on the fly" , as you first time enter events,new tracks or look new cars in the dealership .

It is done automaticaly ,so you can't do anything about that , but playing game and it will install more and more data as you progress > full install (1.15) is 25 gig.
