Backing up my save game...

I tried to back it up, but it says to insert a 16Gb memory stick to allow the backup. Is that right? :scared:

I didnt go any further, partly because I dont want to lose my save file, and also becasue I dont have a 16Gb stick...

Did I go into the right part, because 16Gb sounds like an awful lot for just a single game. (I have only ever played GT5 on my system)
 
Are you sure you're backing up the SAVE FILE? It sounds like you're backing up the GAME FILE.
 
The savegame option is 3 clicks above your GT5 game, mate. ;)👍

What you are trying to do is a backup of your game data or a complete backup of your PS3 hard drive.
Not a bad idea, but I would recommend a external HDD for it.

The GT5 savegame is only around 6mb max, you should be fine with every USB stick. :sly:

 
I was going into the settings menu, and not the game menu :ouch:

Just a tip, from experience. Once you have backed up the save data onto your USB, make a further backup from your USB onto your PC.
I have lost various data from my USB while other things stayed intact without explanation, so it is good to cover yourself if you can.
