ok so i searched for this but didn't even really know how to word it so if it exists already sorry.

i was wondering if i could backup my saved data form my account (gt5slow1)
and load it onto my other psn account (gt5fast2)

essentially being able to go online with my actual user name and use all the cars i earned on my friends account, instead of using his account.

thanks in advance, i hope haha.

Hey man, hate to break it to you, but... Even if you can copy your data from one user (on a PS3 System) onto another user (of the same PS3,unless you have PS +); whitch is possible, go to saved data utility PS3, and select the data you want to copy and then press Δ and select "copy"; it will copy the data... BUT once you start the game up... it will tell you "This data belongs to anther user and cannot be used", so either way you need to start the game from 0.

But there are 2 ways around this :
- Get PS +, and select "set data online feature" so you can acess your data from any PS3 System
- Backup your friends PS3... Creat a new user on your PS3 and restore the data, the user with his data of GT5, when asked to "sign up for PSN or SEN", just select "use an existing account" and enter your account information.

Now I'm not sure if the 2nd part works 100% of the time... But you can try...
It's your only option :sly:

You could also do this.
Use your save from your friends PS3, but you need to use the (exact) user info and create a duplicate account on your PS3, then use the backup.
It needs to be the same PS3 username, PSN name and passwords, that's the catch.

I don't know what happens if your both online and want to race each other, but otherwise it will work.

To the OP, you can't! Game saves are locked to your PSN ID and can't be swapped. If you use another ID, you start from scratch.

TO 01GTP: It won't let one username be signed in more than once at a time.
