This morning I was going to spray the house for bugs and I came across these little critters

I find those all the time in my house, although they are normally missing body parts.

little presents from my cats

And heres a close up on spiderman...

It was wierd because if you notice the lizard is staring right at the camera with a cheesy smile on and with spiderman too

um, don't black widows have a red mark, or is that a male and do they not have have the mark?

Yep it was there, I poked it with a stick and flipped it over. sure enough it was a black widow...plus it was hiddin in a spidey cave, so i had to take it out..

Looks like a black widow to me, at least the legs are the right sizes anyway, and body shape is right too. I have black widows by me too, but not all that often.
I hear if it bites you, you get super powers like strength, heightened senses, and the ability to stick to walls. ;) But if any of this happens, just remember that with great power comes great responsibility. ;)

nah thats not a gecko, geckos have bigger black eyes and they are spotty with big suction cups on their toes. they make weird noises when you squish em in the door.

this is what is commonly known as a frilly. youll find these little buggers everywhere in australia. this one here is about 12 inches long. i came home from work and my dogs were barking at it so i picked it up and the little bastard bit me. he got launched over the fence onto the road after i took this photo. :)

i think youre talking about the australian Red Backed Spider. i just so happen to have a few photos of one i found in my shed.

this is a female, they are bigger than the males and the red mark is really dark.
