I've been trying to get this going since the summer break beginning, but only 2 people on my friends list can actually drive a Kart. As of the 2.02 update, the 125 Karts, and 100 Karts will be kept on a different points system, so you do not need to buy any DLC or get GT5 XL. You do not need any DLC for tracks so do not worry about that, we won't be racing at DLC tracks anyways. On custom shorttracks, you will not be able to customize your transmission.
The League will start when I get at least 8 participants, which hopefully is in 2 weeks. The first race will be a 29 lap race at Indianapolis. It will be a 25 race schedule. 1st place in points gets a random car between 550pp-600pp. 2nd place gets a random car between 500pp-550pp. 3rd place gets a random car between 400pp-500pp. 4th and down get an honorable mention. Note: these prizes are for final points standings, NOT race standings.
Points will decrease by 1 per position, so ig you get 1st in a 10 driver race, you get 10 points, 2nd gets 9, 3rd get 8 etc.
I am really desperate to get this going because I know that I am really good at karts, I just don't know HOW good I really am. If you win the championship, and not me. You get to face me at the custom track, which as of 1/6/2012, I am undefeated at, and hold a time record of 39.6 seconds (note, this was with a stock transmission and a 125).
