Bad luck or something else??

Okay, Iv'e got 12 Mil to spend and im after some rare Le Mans cars or group C. A bentley speed 8 appeared right away, so i grabbed it. But i have refreshed the UCD well over 20 times and i have not seen any race cars. Only normal stuff. I have seen 3-4 yellowbirds in this time but no race cars. Is there something i am doing wrong or am i just being unlucky??
 
Just bad luck mate, keep refreshing and you will find some LMP cars eventually or wait till PSN is back and see if theirs anything in the OCD worth picking up.
 
Speaking of the Speed 8, I have that in my ucd right now but if I buy it then my credits go back to zero pretty much. Haven't played gt5 since the hack job so it's still there. I'll probably get it once we can get back online because I'm catching up on other games in the meantime.
 
I had the chance to grab the Bentley Speed 8 but I only JUST had enough credits, I really wanted the car but I just couldn't go back to ZERO credits again after working so hard to scrape together 5 million.

I couldn't bring myself to drain my account on a single car, I will never drop below 2 million.

I had a similar thought last time it was in my ucd but on reflection, I wish I'd bought it.

I had the chance to grab the Bentley Speed 8 but I only JUST had enough credits, I really wanted the car but I just couldn't go back to ZERO credits again after working so hard to scrape together 5 million.

I was in the same position the other day. The Bentley has popped up a few times now and again last week it appeared at a time when buying it would clean me out of cash.

I've been waiting forever for the elusive XR8 Falcon so I've been mindful to have 1.3 million ready to go just in case. Just as well I didn't cave and buy the Bentley , after 1196 days of waiting I finally got the XR8 !! What a relief :)

That's crazy! Why not? The money is there to be spent whether it be for cars or tuning or what not, one can always earn more!
That's like saying "I'll never drop past 0" because if you're never going to use the 2 mil it might as well be nothing, 0, niltch, squat!

I think that makes sense, well it does to me at least, after a few beers.

For me I need the minimium amount of cash I have set, which is 1.5 million or higher to upgrade the cars I use the most. Plus you never know when that one car will come by in the ucd and it sucks when you don't have the cash for it. I passed on the speed 8 because it's not a must have car for me right now.

Go to the License challenge. Select any license section. Then once the first event pops up, just skip forward to the 2nd event, then 3rd. So on and so forth until you get to the 5th event. Don't do the events (unless you want to), just skip from 1st event to 5th event.

Then back out and the UCD will be refreshed.

No shame in overnight indy-grinding. I think it got me like 6 mil when I did it. The GT5 in game economy is just too wealthy for people who have limited time to play it to benefit from the fun cars. For what it's worth, the speed 8 is a fun car. I don't use it a lot, but I do have fun driving it.

Or just go to Practise, do like 1 lap in a race. Quit. New section of cars added to UCD.
