Independence Day for me was digging into some great barbeque from my dad. So with this topic,
I want to discuss barbeque and grilling. I'll start.
First off, all the commercials I see about Johnsonville Bratwurst, they say "welcome to Heaven on a bun." My response- damn! That makes for some good BBQ. Those commercials also say that slow cooking is the secret to great taste. Maybe that's what my old man did to cook the brats (pronounced "brahts") so wonderfully. I also like good ribs. Once, I had as many as five in a day.
And of course, my teeth "paid for it" by still feeling the feeling of biting through rib after rib.
Summer grilling is the name of the game for those weekends, seem like. It's also a hot favorite at the race track. So let's talk about barbeque and grilling, folks! By the way, Happy 228th Birthday, America!
