Basic Car Suspension, Tell me about them

Okay, so here I am having another problemo.
I want to improve of handling on some cars that I have but I have no/limited knowledge whatsoever about suspensions. I looked up at the internet, GT5's suspension guide, youtube, and all other sources. But I still dont have an idea on how to configure it. :ouch:

So please tell me some basic knowledge in the easiest way you can to explain to me. But I do know that settings are different based on car's weight or drivetrain.

Please just basic information on suspension.

Generally, on tarmac, you want the car as low as possible and then firm up the stiffness of the dampers. If the track is bumpy, don't lower it completely as it will bottom out, and handling will suffer.

Toe and camber concern how the tyres sit in relation to the road surface.

Nah its just from almost every source on the net. I cant understand a bit about it. But I am going to search here right now.
