Okay, my friend and I are watching the original Batman movie for drama. We have to do a powerpoint presentation on it and theres one thing that we really don't get. Is this movie supposed to be a comedy or not? We're not sure if some of the stupid things that happen, or appear in the movie are supposed to make us laugh, or if times have changed alot since 1966.

That Adam West, who played the original Batman is one of the funniest man alive. He was part of shortlived comedy show called "The Danger Theater", which he played a Police Captain in a spoof of Hawaii Five-O, called "Hawaiian Punch".

In one episode, a Ninja Assassin misses some government VIP with this shuriken throwing stars and kills a used car salesman from Iowa or something. As he investigates the scene of the crime, Adam West(Captain) goes on with a straight face, "Obviously, this Ninja bought a bad used car from this man and followed him here. Case closed!".

Awesome. I don't know why, but just looking at that picture makes me laugh. I like how his real name is used, too.
