hey, what's up everybody!I have a quick question,if anybody can help me with this.I ordered a Japanese PS2 game,it's called Battle Gear 2,and it's made by Taito Inc. (or is it Corp?) and it's scratched, but you can't tell that much.but I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of to fix the scratches, and it still doesn't work.It worked once and it's NEVER worked again.it always gets to the PLAYSTATION 2 loading part, then it goes blank and you can hear it loading, but it's like,"tick..tssss...tick tick...tssss.." and so forth, but it never loads to the "Game Start" screen.so I was just wondering if any of you guys had suggestions on how I should try to fix this game?I ordered the game off EBay,but I wonder if I could send it to the Taito Inc. and see if they can fix it.it's not the Japanese PS2 that's messed up,cause I play Initial D on it and any of my other Japanese Playstation games on it,but Battle Gear 2 won't work,so I know it's the game that's messed up.if you have any suggestions on how I should fix this problem,or if you know who I can send this to to try and fix, then please tell me :D!

I cant remember whats it called but we used to use some sort of spray on the discs so the scratches can disappear and the PSone wouldn't recognise the scratches. It worked a treat. If it works on PS2 is another matter but right now I can't even remember its called. I'll try and get back to you.

This isnt to get rid of scratches, but if your cd is dirty and you dont want to spend $$ on any cd cleanin products, what you can do is get toothpaste and dab it on a clean cotten clothe and act as if your waxing the the cd...it works

Ok, it would seem that there are various version of this product. You have the SkipDR and GameDR and then you have the SkipDRMD and GameDRMD. the MD versions are motorized while the non MD versions are opperated via a crank that you turn.

And according to the makers of said products, there is no difference in performance between the SkipDRMD and the GameDRMD.

Good luck!
