I already send in my time.. i did it with my 444hp Subaru Impreza STi 22B.. fast little car but i dont think i will win :(

If I get a chance to run "unmedicated" I'll send you a time. And perhaps get a write up on.

come on.. i dont want to be the only one racing :banghead: but if noone enter the race ill win :D

Just playing i want to see where i rank.

Okay, I'm back!
First off, I tried the GTO (3000GT-VR4) For the rest of you, don't bother. It won't break 1'16.XXX for me. But, I'm slow.

I got the Subaru 22B off the truck and over to the pits for some modifications. Did everything you can do. Then started playing with the power.
The closest I could get to 450HP is 445 (after run in).
Deep Forest was an interesting choice, Thankfully, I've recently run the TT here in the Skyline.
I took a few laps to familiarize myself with the track. I eventually chased my ghost down to 1'14.309.
That was run with the VCD at 30%. The Subie is one of the few cars that benefits from having some VCD dialed in. But no need to take it down to 10%.

Next off the trailer was the R34 V-Spec II. Dang, what a sweet ride this is!
I spent a lot of time tweaking on the power side of the equation to get close to 450HP. I was at 449HP with Semi-race I/E, port/polish, full balance, Increased displacement, and Stage 1 turbo when I started.
As with the Subaru, I did every mod available, including T8 tires. As the Skylines run best with no VCD, I didn't bother with it. In my experience, it just mucks up the handling.
Anyway, I loaded the Subie Ghost to chase around. After a few familiarization laps (the car this time not the track) I started chasing the Subie in earnest and finally bested it with a 1'14.238. I may have been able to run faster, but I gave up at that point.

What fun!!

I don't remember my exact settings
But I biased the springs toward the rear. This is close to what I ran with:
Springs 9.0/12.0
ride ht. minimum/+10mm
bound 7/7
rebound 9/9
camber 3.0/1.0
toe 0/0
dampers 4/4
brakes 24/19

reset the tranny to stock, and ran the auto slider out to 27.
LSD. init: 10/30
accel: 30/5
decel: 10/5
I've found the Rally Lancer are awesome handlers on the tarmac out of the box. I copped the LSD settings from there.

Damn. Wish I came upon this a bit earlier. I would of thrown the 22b around the track some. Extend the deadline till the 21st? Eh? *nudge* EH? :D

Sure... Ill talk to Ryen about moving the Deadline farther ahead... go ahead and run your time and pm him the time and ur car etc...

Sheesh... It may not be worth it.

My girlfriend had some school thing that took way longer than I thought, and I need to work on my car tomorrow, and hard to say if I'll get some time. I may throw a 22b Saturday afterwork, but don't extend the deadline due to my slow rear.

Well, I finally got some time.

I threw a Subaru 22B STi around Deep Forest. After a few runs and tuning, I got a 1'13.271. Still give it some tries.

Edit: The best I had was a clean 1'12.912. Probably stop right now.
