You guys can add me: jswilli1 it would be great to play a private match. I have a headset if you guys are using them. I am 100% on trophies but trying to finish the stamps.

Well, we dont have a scheduled match yet so adding everyone on the roster so far would do for now 👍 And as for the mics, yes, but if you dont have one, its ok :)

The voice chat is horrible, I have tried the old PS2 Logitech headset and a Bluetooth Jawbone 2 headset. The Jawbone is ok but still hard to hear people.
 
Anybody have any good tips for this game? I have been playing for about two weeks and the aiming stinks. Personally I am a better sniper than anything else. I have literally unloaded a whole clip from the handgun (sniper) to take someone out. The machine gun is the same way although I have found "feathering" the trigger and releasing a few rounds at a time is more effective. I guess the "Headshot" is the single shot that takes someone out? I have hit people nearly point blank in the head with the sniper rifle and no kill? All in all I find the game fun but the aim/shot sometimes is frustrating.
 
When you snipe aim for head or upper body, I have taken many out with one shot in upper chest. If he dont go down after 1 shot in head it must be lag. whatever gun you use dont fire before you atleast aim at upper chest.. And burst your shots.

Yes, aim for the upper body. Nothing more satisfying than a headshot from the other tip of wake island :) As for the sub machine guns, it has no accuracy and not enough damage. Unless DICE releases a map that produce close-quarter combat, the sub machine guns are pretty much rendered useless (for me at least). The best gun in the game is the M1 Garrand. 2 shots on the torso produces a kill instantly. I don't know why the Japanese uses the M1 because as far as i know, they were using a bolt action rifle at the time. I guess its for the balance of the game.
 
I think if sub machine gun had longer range it wouldent have bin such good balance between the guns. I useally try to sneak up on enemy with sub machine gun, its real good up close, and I think it has pretty good range when shooting in burst. Looking forward to private match 👍
 
Had a few rounds playing with jswilli. Good fun 👍 would've been better if we knew everybody else that was playing, but we'll get there :)
 
Yes, we'll do that once the roster is up to numbers. 16 people would be a good start :)

Woohoo!! were almost there... If you guys dont mind I'm going to add you on my list for future games of BF:1943 and maybe even Bad Company 2 in a few months ;)

We had quite a few good rounds last night, I took you guys up on your suggestions for aiming and it helped out. I did some major damage with both grenades and grenade launcher last night also. My wife and I were actually taking turns between campaigns thats when I noticed that Masi was on. I will add the current running PSN list tonight when I get home from work.
