BBC and Formula 1?

Alright so can somebody tell me what happened to BBC + Eddie Jordan + Martin Brundle + David Coulthard? Does BBC no longer cover F1 anymore?

I really loved them. They were the best. I loved their intro to many of the Grand Prix's and they were really fun and professional to watch

The short version is this: the BBC decided that Formula 1 was too expensive, so they did a deal with Sky Sports to split the broadcast. Sky will broadcast all 20 races (including practice, qualifying and the race itself) in full. The BBC will broadcast ten races live, and extended highlights of the other ten (possibly nine if Bahrain is cancelled). Brundle and Kravitz went to Sky, where they were joined by David Croft, Damon Hill and Natalie Pinkham. Coulthard, McKenzie and Jordan stayed at the Beeb.

Aww that is so sad to see EJ and DC out I loved the trio haha. But thanks for the info! I really appreciate it.
I now understand how BIG Formula 1 really is.. if the worlds biggest TV channel can't even afford to show it haha

Eddie Jordan is still on the BBC team, he was just absent from the first two races. JH and DC are 'bringing him' to China though.

EDIT: I think I mis-read your post. EJ was part of the JH-DC-EJ trio whereas Brundle did the race commentary alongside Coulthard. Brundle was only seen with the rest of them on the F1 forum.

The BBC footage is short but still good quality. Whilst I miss live practice and qualifying, Ben Edward's commentary for the race is excellent whilst Coulthard is getting the hang of it like Brundle did when he first started. Though I think Croft and Brundle are better, they're not £35 a month better if you get me

I've yet to see a live race from them but hopefully it will be as good as it was last year.
