Post your bangers and clangers here, we've all seen our fair share!
A worthy car could constitute as one with;
-shoddy/rusting paint/body
-one that is dented almost beyond recognition
-a scabby body
-missing bodywork such as bumpers/fenders, rear-view mirrors and such like.
-Anything you deem worthy to be here to be honest, I think you all know what I mean, and this category of car describes itself really :)

To get thing's rolling, here's a Bug I saw in Portugal.

PS: Admins and fellow posters, if there already exists a thread for such abominations, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm fairly new here, but I've looked around for a thread of similar ilk, but have come up fruitless, hence this thread. Apologies in advance if I've been mistaken.

There are two reasons for that Bug in that state:
1- It's a late 50's car
2- We're too poor to fix a cheap car

Weathered and slightly ratty El Camino. Also made a horrendous racket as we cruised by

Not all to familiar with American classics and such, so I'll leave you guys to identify these ;)

:yuck:

I think that belongs in the questionable modifications thread. ;)
It does, I was just too lazy to put it there. Plus, it could be a lightning fast drag racer, which apparently isn't questionable, even if it looks like puke.

That Tucker is great. Bonus points for it being used for speed trials too. Could only look cooler if it was caked in salt.

Can't really tell by the picture, but there was a good layer of salt on it. It even had a piece of paper on it that said 'Yes, this is salt from Bonneville!'.

It would indeed look cool, but if they left it coated in bonnevile salt there wouldn't be much left of it by now. Hell it must still be corroding because of the salt even if they wash thoroughly after going to the flats.

Still hyperawesome of course.

Also, several cars here do not seem "beat up"... but @Slash 's truck takes the cake, holy hell :0

Question for the US contingent...

Don't cars have to pass any sort of roadworthiness test in America?

I see cars on the road over there that are clearly pieces of 🤬 - which you'd never get away with driving in Europe as they wouldn't pass the annual inspection - in the UK, an annual inspection (called an MOT) is compulsory for all cars over 3 years old and tests all sorts of things related to safety.

No MOT = no road tax and no insurance.

All my dad does is get emissions tests yearly. I saw a Corolla with the entire bumper rotted off. If I'd remembered the thread, I'd have got it. But anyway, as far as I know, as long as it passes emissions it's fine.
