Hello everyone.

If a society was created where everyone was beautiful, would there be any beauty? After the last plastic surgery or genetic manipulation, would there be any unattractive people left to serve as a comparision? Isn't every quality a contrast to another?

Another example...

If a society was created where everyone was intelligent, would the inhabitants consider themselves to be intelligent? How would they come to such a conclusion? In this case, it seems obvious that every quality is a contrast to another.

Because beauty is not a constant, there will always be beauty in different forms and in each of its perceptions. Your situation might work if everyone looked and behaved absolutely identically...

...but then there are the goats and sheep to worry about. :scared:

Ok, wtf. Out of all the threads you have made. Omnis is the first to reply... :odd:

That's because it's morning, I'm bored, and I'm in the mood for debunking.

Hi Gen.

http://www.gnooks.com/discussion/aldous+huxley.html

I haven't read Brave New World, but I know what their society is like. If my memory is correct, I think the Alphas and Betas are all beautiful, while the lower ranks are physically retarded. Therefore, it's not exactly a beautiful society, if 80 percent of its inhabitants are physically deformed.

Cheers.

Oh ho I was merely stating the obvious plagiarism but please babbling nonsense.

So Condraz23 searches everywhere, but not here. Interesting.
