Is there a thread for this game here somewhere? If there is, I apologise. But I just had to say that I recently picked up a second hand copy and I am enjoying this more than MW2! Sure it's a lot clunkier than the CoD games but there's a certain something to it - a visceral, tense realism to the shooting action that makes MW2 almost arcadey in comparison. Now I love a simple free-for-all online session, and while Rainbow 6 V2 has none of the OTT nonsense of MW2(air strikes, killstreaks, deathstreaks, choppers, turrets etc), I think it's all the more better for it. People I've played against move around the maps hiding behind walls, using cover, and make the most of the available scenery. And Rainbow's maps have more multiple levels than MW2's. I think it makes for some really tense shootouts. People have said that MW2' gameplay is more akin to a paintball session, and I tend to agree. MW2 is overstuffed with too many gimmicks, while Rainbow 6 keeps things simple, and is a far more enjoyable experience in my opinion.
