So, I’ve been toying with the idea of a championship of sorts. I took some of the slowest/cheapest cars in the game and I’ve been trying to tune them so they are roughly the same around most tracks. Obviously, there are going to be variances depending on track type when you have a diverse field. I’m not thinking of hosting a regular championship, just a fun night of racing in the near future. If someone decides to take the idea and run with it, great. Here are the cars I have so far. I haven’t tuned them per se, just adjusted the power on them and fixed the transmissions in a couple out of necessity. Beside each car is the power ratio percentage. I tested them around Brands Hatch (Indy I believe? The shorter version). They were all within 1 second of each other with me at the wheel, your results may vary
Daihatsu Copen (power ratio 90)
VW Beetle (power ratio 200)
VW Sambabus (power ratio 210)
Mini
Honda Beat (power ratio 91)
500 F - crank it all the way!
There may be other cars that could fit, but I didn’t notice any. The VWs and the Fiat 500 need transmissions. Anyway, let me know what you think. I love the forgotten small cars - although the Mini will get plenty of love. I think it would make for a great race night!
