You could buy the 787B, or the Peugeot 908 LMP, both are pretty good IMO.

Mostly all of the Group Cs and LMPs are very fast, but each one has a different response to the driver's style. Though the most popular LMP is the Peugeot 908 HDi, due to it being particularly easy on the driver yet very fast off-the-line.

Toyota GT-One

Do the B-Spec NR-A Roadster Cup and get a competitor for free or make a Corvette ZR1 RM and use that.

Well, the R10 sucks, and personally I'd go Mazda, for the sheer sound.

If you are lucky and meet the Audi R8 coincidentally, I strongly advise you to buy it. Very fast around the corners, it is also quick on the straights too. I won once with this car at the LM 24 Hrs :D:tup:

But if you're buying one at the Premium Dealerships, then the 787B might be your best choice (though it's the most expensive one out of the 3). Pretty fast (still, not as fast as the R8 :D) and it's got a great sound. Though to me, it's a bit difficult to drive

r10 is way underpowered and plain out sucks, the 908 is the fastest and easiest to drive out of the box, the 787 is fast, sounds good, but is harder to drive and harder on tires. Imo the hardest decision is which version of the 908 you want.

edit: this is if you are buying from the ncd.

I'm partial to the Bentley Speed 8 but it's standard and I snatched it up as soon as I saw it in the UCD. The 908s are fast but out of the premium cars I prefer the 787B.

It's gotta be the Mazda 787B. Stunning to drive, wails like a tortured opera singer, thrashes certain tractor-fuel powered Audis, and one of the cheapest LM cars. Done.

or buy the dlc and get the xjr9 for free (sorta) its a solid car, has max 1009 hp which makes it a beast, or 787b another solid one, or peugots, NOT any of the audis they have no power and are slippy slidy

Wrong, the Audi R8, and R8 Oreca '05 are the best LMPs downforce wise, have good grip and speed.

The Audi R10 though is slippy slidy.

True, actually. Forgot about that. Buy the 787B.

787B is a blast to drive. Good engine noise, too.

Me too, but I don't do enduro races. Just don't like them (even in B-spec)
If your like me GT-ONE hands down. Or 787B if you're not

The audi's suck, I was stupid enough to buy 2 of 'em and I hate them. I would've rather gotten one of the pescarlo's. If you want a fast Sarthe LMP car, you can't go wrong with the Minolta. it's easy enough to get a hold of one (You win it in A-spec I think) and it's stupid fast. Only car that blew me away was the 787B Stealth model. Ran into that thing 1 time and he was GONE. The Sauber C9 is another decent car... also the XJR-9 (Premium)(DLC), the R8 (Yellow trim) is the only decent audi I've gotten.
