OK THIS IS DEFINATLY NOT A PHOTOCHOP SINCE ITS ON SALE!!

WOW 1000 pounds the old one!!

Bentley Continental GT/LM

The LM is a lightweight version of the Bentley GT with a savings of over 1000lbs. With performance rated on a sliding scale of available power-to-weight, the LM gives the driver a real feeling of a race-bred classis without the expensive up-keep and limited usage. The LM is not a tubular chassis with different components hung on it, its rather an enhancement of what Bentley engineers have developed.

Brakes, suspension, and internal engine components are untouched as there is nothing to be done to make it better for the LM performance package. Bentley has also provided one of the strongest unitized chassis in the industry. That is; steering, six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive delivering unparalleled handling and performance. Changing the whole car to be a rolling laboratory of advance space-age racing products is not the intent at all.

The LM is for the person that enjoys the GT but desires a lot more then the factory gives. Genaddi Design Group, under the direction of Master Coach Builder Mark Gerisch, is able to offer you performance, elegant styling, exotic exclusivity and status that is only matched by highly tuned Porsches, Ferraris and Mercedes.

Only a Bentley GT/LM will do what no other car on the planet can, put 100 years of innovation, craftsmanship and passion at your finger tips.

Car and Dirver said the regular Continental was plauged by terrible understeer. Hopefully the weight savings excised some of that; I don't see any other changes that would affect it.

I should point out this is not a BENTLEY made car. This car is taking a Bentley Continental GT and giving it to the Genaddi Design Group for an extra 170,000 GBP, and they give you back this GT/LM.

You wouldn't really expect that to be an LM car. Sure its powerful, but its bloody heavy!...But, it looks nice.:)

Looks great, and it saves a whopping 1,000lbs! I'd love to see it in some comparison tests vs. the regular conti!

Yeah I kinda forgot to mention that.

I drove over the San Bernadino Mountains saturday (great drive) and saw 2 Continental GTs. Both were black, but they came from opposite directions, so I'm sure they were not the same car..

Your avatar reminds me that I was in a Caterham dealer today. My dad was talking to someone who works there. I love Caterhams, but I have to say, they do look a bit like coffins up close.

Man, the 2005 season for LM gt calss is going to be exciting to watch! 360 modena, posrche gt3, bentleyGT ( potential ), Aston Martin DB9 ( potential ) cadillac CTS-V......potential jaguar XKR...GOOD TIMES !

DBR9 is not potential, it's fact. And Bentley is not running LeMans anymore, neither is the Cadillac CTS-V or Jaguar XKR.

Too bad they're so rare in the U.S.
