talian Carrozzeria (coachbuilder), Zagato, the most famous Automotive Atelier in the world developed a unique, coachbuilt body for a Bentley, one of the world’s most beautiful and desirable cars.

The Bentley project follows the long-standing tradition of Zagato Atelier co-operation with premium British automotive brands over several decades. Ace, Bristol, Aston Martin, Jaguar, MG, Rolls Royce and Rover are among the UK-based brands that have worked with the Milan Atelier in the past to produce, what are now some of the most sought after collector’s cars in the world. Other notable cooperations include Ferrari and Maserati.

The concept of sports elegance, dynamically functional design, remaining free from contingent tendencies but seeking directly to drive emotion and pure pleasure, combined with the hand-shaped precious aluminium bodies, have made Zagato Atelier appreciated as one of the very best and most admired by Customers and Collectors since the 1920’s.

Zagato’s strength lies in the creation and realisation of this sports-style elegance within a functional design that does not bow to momentary fashions but seeks out the sheer excitement and total pleasure of driving, an appreciating value recognised everywhere.

Today Zagato is the only Atelier capable of marrying its great and long history of craftsman-led workshop experience with the most modern design and development technologies currently available. This capability has allowed Zagato to build small numbers of unique samples, combining the very best of premium manufacturer’s mechanical running gear with highly exclusive neo-classic Zagato bodies.

:scared:

Pass me the shotgun, this one's not getting off the page.

And I think that just sealed Zagato ever doing another Aston. Is there just one shape left in the archive? "Hey guys, Bentley just asked us to do one..." "Well, fetch the big hammers and get the rear window out of stores."

Wow, looks mutated...It looks like it stayed a few extra seconds longer in the microwave.....
Oh I forgot to say, it looks ugly as hell.

They melted a beautiful Bentley. I'm very sad indeed!

I do like how the front-end gave me a feeling of the old Hunaudieres concept, but then I googled that and realized my memory isn't working right. Either way, I like the front end, and while I appreciate what they've done with the complex curve with the rear window... the backend looks like what Citroen would do five years ago before they got on their current awesome design kick.

I actually like it, but I have to agree with McLaren, it's just the 575Z design applied to a Continental GT, I'd have expected something more original.

The car looks too much like the original from the front to justify the rest of the design. The 'double-bubble' top concept failed because it continued into the rear-window glass, in my opinion. I don't mind it, though.

Got to love that Fiat.

Compare and contrast, this is a Zagato Fiat Abarth 750.

I know which I prefer. And why.

And you thought Ford was plagiarising its own work for the '05 Mustang.

Never really liked any of zagato's creations and this one is no exception

Not even this one?

As for the Bentley, no sir I don't like it. I'm not sure if it is because I have just become so "over" the Continental anyway or what. This design just doesn't feel resolved to me.

To be honest, I really do like this car, especailly the back. You see...I really dont' like the Continental stock.

It's much blockier, especially out back. It looks taller. Hell, I can barely tell the difference between this and the Flying Spur, not if I can't see the doors.

I get to the back of this one however and, well...It's a classic Club Coupe, the way it drops off. It's kind of like this...

But reminds me more of THIS.

I like that.

That car can speak for itself. It sais BAM!! Look! Its MEEE! Only to realize the only reason people are looking at it is because its so ugly.

Er, perhaps I selected the wrong picture.

I mean, ever seen these? There are so many more great designs, the entire collection which would take a whole day to compile and post.
