Like the Spada Codatronca that I suggested earlier, the Mantide is powered by, and based on, a C6 Corvette ZR-1. This means a supercharged 6.2 litre V8 producing 638 bhp, and a gross weight that is 100kgs less than a ZR-1, thanks to the copious use of carbon fiber. The result is a supercar that can sprint from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds, and thanks to its superior aerodynamics, achieves a max speed of 218 mph.

Only 9 likes??!! Maybe more pics and specs could help...

Designed by one Mr. Jason Castriota, of Ferrari P4/5 fame, this slice of Italian coachbuilding magic is based off of C6 Corvette ZR1.

Built with now supercar-must-have carbon fiber, Mantide weighs 100kg less than ZR1. Needless to say, performance is improved upon somewhat...

This despite no mechanical change to its drivetrain. Well, ZR1 is pretty darn quick to begin with so....
And its shape is rather slippery as well: recording drag coefficient of 0.298, one of the best in supercar class.

Stile Bertone actually built a handful of examples for discerning customers for quite a lot of change.

0-60mph around 3.2 seconds
top speed 217mph/351kph

Also included in its retail price :D is FIA-spec roll cage.

Edit: oh and forgot to mention: it's pronounced man-tee-dae, not man-tide.
