My best run in the Escudo is 8.905.

I'd be interested to know if I can use anything else to get a better time? I'm running the stock torque distribution, level 4 traction control, level 32 general suspension setting, cranked up downforce, and super slicks. Oh, that big ass turbo too.

I figure I could get a better time by playing around with the suspension settings, but I really don't want to, i'd rather have a given layout... or maybe change the gear ratios.

I thought of the old rule that says the lower your car is to the ground, the more hindered the top speed is, so I figured, if the top speed is ruined by a lower car... maybe acceleration is improved? Well, it is.

Finding the sweet spot wasn't hard. When I lowered it to the ground, I ran an 8.906, .001 second behind my previous time, but I noticed that i really pulled ahead of the ghost, but he caught up to me right as I ran out of gears, and over the finish line. I raised the new 75mm ride height back up to 85mm (stock was 140mm) and i pulled a 8.727 time! Amazing what some slight adjustments will do, eh?
