Best <200,000 SSX Grinding Car/Setup

Hey guys... I've been grinding SSX with my GT-R Black, but I feel like there are better options out there... can someone suggest what cars can lap SSX faster than the GT-R and don't cost very much to repair? For the sake of being a "cheap repair" car, let's set the maximum cost for the car (not the repair cost) to be 200,000 give or take... ideas/suggestions/tunes? THANKS!
 
Well if your goal is to earn credits you can earn more quicker by running the Red Bull Jr events either just run one over and over or better still run the whole championship. Which gives a bonus of 250k x2 if you have the 200% login bonus active. If you can win them all then you can skip Motegi which takes longer to run than the others and it is possible to earn over 3 mil in one hour there

SSX is about the most boring way possible to earn credits and does not pay as well as some other races that can be done faster and are more entertaining.

Of course if SSX is what you want to do then you may want to throw some parts on the Vision GT Mercedes. You can get over 300mph out of it with NOS and over 280 mph without NOS

thanks... I'll give it a go when I get back... I ran RB Jr once before I left for vacation and managed 2nd (although I'm sure I can win if I wasn't hammered lol)

still... SSX is boring but sometimes I like turning off my brain once in a while and just going fast in a circle where I don't have to try lol...
 
67 EL Camino! Use the draft plus a shot of naws for the win.

Add a camper shell for epic redneckness!
 
I use the Viper SRT10 ACR which is really cheap to repair and hits 291 without NOS/Drafting. I run 3'57 with NOS. I like it because not only is it very cheap to repair but it's also cheap and easy to replace if I ever need to.
 
The Corvette ZO6 is able to do it, I've done it with the C63 AMG, GT-R black, R34 Skyline GT-R.
You need to end up with a 950 BHP+ car to win the Like the wind Event easily. ;)
My Hyundai Genesis with 860 BHP has trouble to win the event.
 
I know it isn't the cheapest setup, but my 25th anniversary countach with 730ish HP wins LTW SSX easily. 260mph cruising, 311 max speed downhill with a well timed draft. NOS not necessary, but it is fun. I'm surprised this car can go that fast with 730HP.
 
2002 Viper GTS reaches 294mph without nos or draft. Leave stock 6 speed in it. Sorry I'm on my phone.
 
thanks guys! My GT-R Black runs about 3:56 (or ran I guess before I messed with the settings... gotta go back and reset now)... I'm gonna try the Viper and Vette tomorrow to see if I can beat the time... what's the fastest Viper out there guys?
