Best 300ZX and 3000GT/GTO?

Never been a huge fan of these cars but i'm kinda going into a testing phase in the game now (between grinding) so wondered what the best all round version of both of these is? Not necessarily the quickest in a straight line, more an all-round package which could perhaps post the best lap time? Thanks!
 
With the exception of the 2+2, none of the Z32s are notably different from each other, so you might as well just pck up the Premium version. The '98 model has barely different stats, but not really better ones (I'm pretty sure it has 1 less horsepower and 1 more torque, or something like that, plus a redline a couple hundred RPM lower).

As for 3000GTs, that easy. The best one is the '98 Twin Turbo MR. It is the lightest (turbo) and best handling model, and is pretty close to being the fastest in a straight line.
 
Thanks will try those, I know my cars to some extent but not a lot about those, but just read an article on the UK MSN home page about affordable used fast cars and they both came up :)
 
Little off topic but yeah...

Both are great cars IRL I used to own a TT 90 300ZX 2+2 and my bro had a 90 TT GTO

Only real difference between the 2 was that the 300 would get a little tail happy on boost were as the GTO was just grip all the way
 
The GTO VR4 is the one with all the gadgetry right? The AWS and active aero and all that? Dunno if it's necessarily faster with it but it's interesting and pretty neat :)

I'm actually pretty interested in the GTO irl, but any in decent condition are a bit out of my price range at present :(

AWD does help a lot. Currently looking at my parents '96 300ZX. SO many 3000GT's around here.
 
The 300zx standard model 89 year is the best acording to the car specs, it weight less than the others, and have more hp, but it is super rare in the UCD.
 
the description doesn't say what makes a 300ZX Ver.R TT different from the regular TT but it has a red badge IIRC.
 
For me, the best 300ZX is the '89 premium one... and not only because it's premium... I picked him because it's from my same birthday year :)... and like Toronado said, the best GTO is the '98 Twin Turbo MR :)
