Hi chaps,

Tonight as I begin the new seasonal b spec, I have stumble across to some trouble with the 500 pp race.

I ran my 02 r34 and pushed to the limit of 500 pp but couldn't beat the nsx..

My question is, what other cars should I try? Maybe an lotus? Something lighter? M3? Or ? So far with the lvl 40 bob, I have came to 4th place..

Cheers..

My go to cars for 500PP are the GSX-R/4 concept and the Lotus Motor Sport Elise.
Both of these require a bit of tuning to get right, but both can beat the NSX. The Elise is a bit more difficult to get right, so I would go with the suzuki.

i rekon its the elise. But as mentioned hard to get right. I dont even have one that is quite right. I have a 550 pp one with aero thats pretty good and can if raced right beat nsx type r's but i believe for 500pp tuned without aero would be the best. The tune is where it s at.

Also there are many that don't count a concept as a roadcar.

Easiest thing to use it the Suzuki GSX-R/4 Concept. Just change the oil and fit appropriate tyres. Keep the car stock.
You'll find that once you start using a car that's tuned the AI cars will be increased to match, which in most times will make their cars/Bobs better. A level 40 Bob (hot or cold) will eat those seasonals with no input if you keep your car stock.

The Shelby Series One Super Charged '03 will win the 500pp races easily.

As mentioned, the Lotus Elise, particularly the 111R, is likely GT5's best normal car for the PP range ~390-520 or more, depending on oil wear, PL etc.

Also, as mentioned, it responds exceptionally well to skilled tuning :)

Respectfully submitted,
Steve

This is one of my favorites, too. The RGT and M3GTR are good, as well as the Fairlady Z (Z34) '08, Camero SS '10, and surprisingly the Camero Z28 '69. I've surprised a lot of people with that. Also pretty much any NSX. There are lots and I'm sure you can find one that suits your driving style. bob just needs a good car though, and any of these should work.

In case you didn't know, there's a section for "Seasonal Events". If you ever have a problem again, there will most likely be a thread in the "Seasonal Events" section that you can check and get your answer in a matter of seconds.

It's right under the "GT5 Questions & Answers" section.

In 500pp aspec races l use a stock Callaway C12 on RS tires.

On RS tires. :P That's so funny.

racing with the AI in gt5 is about as exciting as a rectal exam

not everyone finds joy in using comfort tires just to make it challenging. i just want to win the race and get my money. online is where you are challenged.

Agreed, screw the AI:tup: I just want to win and get my prize $$$
Online is where you separate yourself

So I ended up using the nsx 02 from the new dealership and that thing has some serious power to it.

Ended up with an 16 seconds gap..

It sounds weird, but try it with a Honda CR-Z, and fully tuned.
497 PP and you'll beat the nsx driver without problems.

M3 CSL (the normal m3 and the gtr ar slower at 500pp) , NSX (premium) and the honda concept (hsc or something :) looks like it could be a 2015 del sol ) they are the 500pp nordschleife kings.
Elises and gsx-r aint got no power to follow the rest on fast parts.

for fun i personally use a well tuned Z4 M. fast enouf to be at the top fighting nsx'es and stuff.

For me, I like a evora, with short ratio gearbox, twin plate clutch, semi-racing flywheel and tunes like ECU etc.
Works for me on London and R246.
