Am looking for a car from the 90's that has no more than 400bhp. Can be tuned up to 400bhp if necessary.

No other restrictions such as weight etc.

I plan to use the car at Monza.

Any suggestions on the best out there? 👍

Civic Type R EK '97 RM'ed.

i think theres a Le Mans NSX kicking about on the ucd at about 390ish bhp not sure what the year is though

failing that one of the toms supras will always be a good choice

Thanks for the suggestions so far! :)

I just saw theres a Mercedes 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II Touring Car '92 with 385bhp. Anyone have this and can say if it is any good?

I was racing one of these around the ring in my NSX RM and I beat it pretty easily.

The '91 Acura NSX RM would probably be one of your best choices. It should top out at roughly 400HP when tuned to the max, so it should suit your needs quite well.

Righto, I have bought an NSX to tune up and test it out.

Also, what about this car: Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car '98?

Any GTR. R32, R33, or R34.

The Mercedes may not be the fastest, but is very enjoyable to drive around the ring. One of my favorite cars to drive at the ring as far as fun factor goes. 👍

As others mentioned...the NSX RM would be the faster car probably.

The 90's TVRs should all be in the 300-350 hp range and could be quite ferocious. Just maybe not the Speed 12!

If you can find a lotus Carlton in the UCD you won't be disappointed. There are some great tunes kicking about for them too. Not least of which was one by CGW Performance. A "drive it like you stole it" tune. Their words not mine but epic all the same!!
