I've heard bits and pieces the new trivium. Is it true that Heavy doesn't do his screams anymore?

Yes he has dropped it almost completely. He only does scream a few times through the whole album. But every single song is majorly regular singing.

I must have missed preliminary votes, as I do see that Sam's Town isn't on there. I would care to insert my own opinion in favor of RHP, however, as I have yet to complete any kind of full-listen to any of the listed CDs, I won't vote.

I've heard all but the trivium one. Between Audioslave, RHCP, and Tool... RHCP had the most polished album

This is a tough one. I like every album up there. Hmm... I actually just listened to Stadium Arcadium all the way through last night, and I must say that it is a great album. Audioslave - Revelations is a great album too. My favorite track is by far the title track. 10,000 Days is IMO the weakest album up there. There's a few great tracks like Vicarious, Jambi, and The Pot, but other than that, I really don't care for the rest of the album. Trivium - The Crusade is amazing. A huge improvement over Ascendancy. I like every track on the Trivium album. My favorite being the instrmental title track, The Crusade. Becoming the Dragon and To The Rats are close behind. This is a tough decision. I'm gonna have to think it over for a dew days...

You're missing out on Trivium. They are bringing back trash metal. If you like Metallica and Pantera, you might like the new Trivium album.

I voted for Revelations by Audioslave, I voted for them back when we were listing our Top 5 so I'm super-happy to see it get this far. :)

Well, I listened to the 2nd Stadium Arcadium album tonight and I must say that both cds are great. My vote will be going to RHCP. 👍

I'm not voting for any because they all suck in comparison to my nominations.

I find it more than a bit ironic that the majority of the board complains about "mainstream" rock, yet three of the four albums in this second poll are all played heavily on the radio. Audioslave doesn't impress me, it just makes me miss Zack. RHCP is fun, and they still have their own sound, but it's hardly anything groundbreaking. And 2 CD's? It could've been cut down to one, a lot of it feels half-assed. I've never liked Tool, nor understood the amount of internet males who gravitate towards anything from them. Whatever their current single is on the radio, it's one of the few songs I will change the station over (along with My Chemical Romance's "Black Parade" song and anything by City & Colour).

I've heard bits and pieces of Trivium, and while they aren't my style, I won't call them bad music.

Anywho, since none of my nominations made it (not too surprising, heh), I'll be voting with RHCP simply because if forced to put any of the above in my CD player, it'd be that. And I'd rather see it crowned than either of the other albums I actually have heard..

Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Audioslave doesn't interest me, Tool just reminds me of another band that'll die off in 5 years. The other, doesn't interest me either.

Where do you live? You've got great radio stations if 3/4 of those bands even get semi-rotated on the playlists. All the radio stations down here that play modern rock/alt rock very rarely play any of those bands. I've heard Audioslave's single "Original Fire" I think twice since it's been released, Dani California 3 or 4 times, and I have yet to hear Snow on the radio. I've heard Vicarious twice, and The Pot twice. The only station that plays any TOOL song besides Schism is a college radio station that I can only pick up at certain times and only at night.

Our local Alternative Rock station plays Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Audioslave frequently. Most of the Audioslave stuff that comes on though is from Out Of Exile.
