Best Automotive Gatherings

Nominate the best automotive gathering. Your votes can range from hot rod shows, Kei car shows, club gatherings, vintage car shows, concours, and some may attack me for this, but I will also include sport compact/imports (in other words, not from your country. So for example, a Dodge Neon in Australia or an Alfa Romeo 156 in Brazil is considered an import). After all, a gathering of cars for show or for fun or for racing. So some makeshift examples can include a Corvette gathering in Tennessee, a Honda/Acura road race meeting at Willow Springs Raceway, a Concours in Manhattan, a Viper paradise vacation in Hawaii, a Holden Commodore vs. Ford Falcon gathering in Sydney, Lotus Elise car show and race meeting at Silverstone, and whatever.

I'm mostly into Sport Compacts, so I would say a good gathering is Hot Import Nights. All those flashy cars with stupid neons don't match my taste, but its fun to see the owner's imagination at work. The show also shows the result of all their hard work for their cars. 👍

My favorite race event so far is Formula Drift. I've been into drifting for a while now, and it's great seeing it in real life, and meeting the drivers. You're also surrounded by people who share the same interest. :dopey:
 
Speed week, in the Bonneville salt flats.
The NSRA nats, with 13 000 street rods in one place, for 4 days, at Bakersfield.
The Pebble Beach concours d'elegance and all it involves (the monterey races, the concorso Italiano, the auctions, and so on)
The HotRodMagazine Power Tour
and of course, LeMans.

yeah :D almost all of those are hot rod shows, except, of course, for Le Mans and Pebble Beach.
