Best Buy Pre Order Codes

Just a quick note to everyone. I didn't know that a stealth GTR was offered for pre orders thru Best Buy, and when I picked up the game, didn't know to request the code either.

So after others had mentioned this on GT Planet, I googled, and found the Best Buy forums (customer facing) and decided to join a dedicated thread to redeem/retrieve those DLC codes. Sure enough, a Best Buy rep, sent me an email with the codes within a couple days. And did so without even asking about my receipt number or any documentation whatsoever.

A real nice suprise and I suppose I owe some Kudos to Best Buy for coming thru... and you all know that doesn't happen too often.

I'd love to get an extra code if possible, but only if you have.
 
I think you just need to go on Best Buy's user forums, find the GT5 thread and ask. Seriously, just ask for them.
 
I don't know, I sort of feel its stealing if I do it that way.
 
I preordered from Best Buy with in-store-pickup and they automatically sent me the email with the code... I have yet to use it... hope it doesn't expire.

Yes, it would be stealing if you didn't pre-order initially thru Best Buy. I'm in no way advocating theft. In my experience, Best Buy didn't tell me about the codes, so I was losing out on what should have been included in my purchase.

Yea, I misread your initial post thinking you had received multiple codes. I am not going to do this because it is immoral (and worse than the birthday exploit).
 
i have the gt500 stealth i pre order the collectors edition its pertty fast off the line its a dog but once the turbos kick in i can beat an enzo

Redeem that beast! She sounds amazingly unique once you slap a big ol' turbo on her.
 
I have that GT-R stealth, it is a monster.
 
have the GT-R, F1, SLS and NSX. All fun in their own ways.

and before you slap the big turbo on drive the car once. there seems to be an issue if you DL the car go put the turbo on and losing your exhaust sound.
 
It took me 30sec to google and then scan their customer service thread... do your own work lol. Anywho, I feel bad for the BB QC rep that is about to be bombard3ed by BS claims of people not getting a code.... like mine :}

If you preordered through Best Buy check your email spam folder. That's where my code was. But it may have been too long now. Your spam folder may have dumped it by now.

BTW, the GT-R Stealth is Bob's favorite car. He rocks it!

Its a free promotional code, I abide by pretty strick morals and am not worried about karma for stealing a code.. fyi I spend EVERY Saturday morning voulenteering 8+ hours in my community... outside regardless of w3eather, have only s5olen a mechanical pencil in2nd grade and returned it the next day (hid it back in the store, I was scared lol).

Yes what I did was minor dBaggery, but let's put it in perspective of the human syndrome, not to bad.
 
Last update on my successful Best Buy code...... I found that every time I add a new user on my PS3, and they launch GT5, it adds the Stealth GT-R. I suppose that means I could gift a few of them away.

i dont think you can gift them mate
 
Stealth and Chrome Line cars cannot be gifted. Every account on the PS3 can use them, though.

No, you can't. But you can create as many accounts as PS will allow on your machine and Stealth cars will always be included when you fire up GT5.

Me as well... pretty good lol. Just was informed that I am being flown out to pheonix in march for a disc golf tournament, tickets, registration and condo paid for. Never had to much bad karma... I'm a green head and am very nice to people that aren't pieces... never got the gtr.. but just signed in under my friends ps3 account and just got all of the chrome and stealth cars..
