Best Car 2008: "World" Nominations Accepted

I'm going to be patriotic and nominate the Holden Commodore Sportwagon. What can I say? It's a car which can go and you can fit a whole family in it.

👍 They look absolutely brilliant. I've seen one on road, a V8 Calais V-series and it looked gorgeous. First vote goes to that.

The coupe will be as a 2009 model, but the sedan is already available (I haven't seen one, yet...), and still pretty much up for nomination as well.

Well we'll just vote on the sedan then, a V8 Hyundai sedan that's attractive gets my vote.

The Genesis sedan is actually very very good... I'd still get a 5-series over it (better driving dynamics), but it was a nice test drive... great V6, good variable-setting suspension...

Seconding the Kia C'eed, for being one of the best cars in it's class. My preference would be for the Pro_c'eed 3dr version, but for the sake of not splitting the votes it's the same car.

The Hyundai i30 looks 1000 times better than the i10 though, which looks like a Daewoo.

Because there cannot be enough Commodore variants voted for that will satisfy me until they all are nominated.

Also, +1 on the Seat Cupra Leon--great looking car. Definately the best of the Golf platform based cars. Also +1 on the Hyundais, the C30, and the Saab votes too.

Heh heh, excellent. I had to change your picture though, as what you had is an old artist's rendering of what they thought it would look like from before it came out, and it was an ugly rendering.
