ey guys!! maybe you've answered this question lots of times before... but i'm a new member so i guess i need to ask these questions again :)

So here it goes: what is the best car to use when drifting and what is the best kind of drift to use?

I use the S13 Silvia K for drifting and with this car i can use the power lift-off drift and the braking drift

what do you guys think? :)

I think you should post this in the GT3 Drifting forum. To answer your question quick, there is no best car, and there is no best drift. You need to think of drifting in a subjective light. You can choose to drift in any technique you wish, but certain drifts work better on some corners then others.

There's a forum for this. Oddly enough it's called "GT3 Drifting".

Welcome to GTPlanet!

For real! Who'd a thunk it? :dopey:

He didn't double post on purpose. It was originally in the GT3 Forum. Then he posted it in here. Soon after a mod moved the thread from GT3 to the Drifting forum.

So while he did post it twice, it wasn't twice in the same forum.

Using the new-member excuse? lol. Just kidding ;)

It really depends on preference. People have different styles and different favorites, so it's all relative. But here's what I think about courses:

Fast Drifting: Midfield or Apricot Hill
Skill Drifting: Complex String or Monaco
Combo: Tokyo or Grand Valley

There's more about this in the stickies :)

as everyone here has already said. there is no best car for drifting. obviosly a car w/ lots of power and not much downforce would be good for liftoff drifting. though even a 240 has enough power for this. Everyone has their favorite car for drifting. One of my favs is the viper gts because its more challenging to drift than a 240. but its all personal.... Since drifting is about control...whichever car suits your techniques best is a good drifting car
