"best" car for 650PP Ring seasonals

asking here instead of on the other threads because i am not looking for the Fastest 650 car but the one that will provide the closest racing with the 650 PP seasonal cars that show up at the Ring and note...i avoid any races withe BMW GTR that likes to show up there

These are my 'slower' 650pp cars I like to use for the schleife. The zonda R is proper fun at 650. Right on the edge
 
I use my R32 or R33 TC for a PROPER challenge
Or the '93 calsonic skyline both should give you a great challenge and probely

^^^ Its all relative really . I can beat this with a 575PP car, 2nd place is usually running 6:30's which is abysmally slow for 650PP
 
There are quite a few that stand out well.
I used a FTO Super Touring Car at 600pp once, I had a blast.
The '97 Castrol Toyota Supra gives a pleasant and fair challenge too.

Yeah and the BMW Mclaren F1 only manages about low 6'20s at best. Any car that can get under 6'20 can beat that race.

thats fine and all but the fact it had a good 20-30 second headstart
 
I use a V10 Audi R8. Very fast and very fun. Hugs the track and will not let go :lol:
 
You can get grids without the McLarenF1 (Murray) or the Zonda LM which are slower in pace, so should open up more cars.

But if you are too fast, bolt on weaker tyres.

Also do you need to go for the Win?

If you pick a really poor car you may end up with a hard fought scrap for 5th place. - If you are after closer racing - maybe more rewarding to aim for 4th/3rd place as the leading cars can break away from the pack.

Rewarding as you will have to work to get past some of the field - whereas a 650PP Race Soft uber car will breeze past the AI cars like they are painted on the Asphalt.

Yeah, rabbits are like that. And like Ryk said - drive a stock car in the 620-640PP range on RH tyres and see how "competitive" it is.

Then if you're still winning try cars from 600-620PP stock again and compare.
