I have tried R18 and 787B for challenging GT Championship in International A level, but my cars spun easily, esp when hit by ai cars or on grass. Could you suggest a better car? or the tips to drive this kind of car better? Thank you

I don't think the car is the issue. Racing hard tires have no grip in grass and if you go off track you have to be very very careful about steering, braking and throttle or else. Even on pavement with the traction control set to 5 you have to be careful with the throttle in the lower gears while turning else you will get wheel spin and the car will jump out from under you. It is much worse if you added that high end turbo which adds a lot of extra power at higher rpms.

As for which car, personally I like the Audi R8, it handles very well and is fast on all circuts but either of the ones in the OP should get the job done just fine. You just got to drive them and be careful

I used a R18 TDI with high rpm turbo upgrade. Won the races easily last night, now I'm able to do the S license test..
Changed the suspension and had some driving aids on, just to be sure.

Just got the AE pack Adrenaline and Precision last night via mail and therefore got the R18 TDI AE.

More help needed please. i know im able to pull this off but i want a good decent car without the need of buying another one. can everyone reply so i can compare. thanks in advance

Jeff Gordon 2013 Chevrolet SS. You get it from getting half the stars in Int A (how you get those is another matter :-))This car will win you the championship but not win you all the races. The main thing is that the opposition is closely matched to each other so they trade wins on the different races, which lets you win the championship (by a few points) by just finishing 2nd consistently (you need to win one race at least)

3rd at Bathurst by 0.942
1st at Laguna Seca by 0.202
2nd at SPa by 0.411
2nd at Silverstone by 1.965
2nd at Nurburgring by 2.277

OR

If you bought a deamon of a car for the 1979 races so you could beat the Toyota 7 and Chaparral you can use that. Using the Toyota 7 it is a walk in the park.

I would really recommend the Nissan GT-R R35 Touring car with the Turbo Stage 3 and Engine Stage 3,
Great acceleration and cornering speed.
1st in every race except Nurburgring, Crashed a bit too much ;p

I used the Toyota Minolta, stock with no mods.....added 50kg of ballast to the front end to give it a 50/50 balance. It was a bit twitchy but drove like a champ after I got used to it's tendencies.....in the races, if i could get to the front and cleanly pass the leader, I had no problems staying out of the AI's way......

Audi Quattro S7 hill climb godzilla. I won it by completing the super license gold and it´s such a cheater car. Incredibly easy to drive it´s actually hard to drive it on the limit because it has eternal grip more or less with max downforce and Race tires. I did a 20 minute race and had just about no tire wear on my hard racing tires at green hell thinking I pushed like I was driving an elise lol Not the lowest drag factor but if somebody try to pass you they will be eaten up again in no time. it still accelerates supremely and the drag helps with the braking so not all bad unless top speed is the only thing that matters.

But like the Elise it´s not the most exciting as you are litterary on rails 99 % of the time. Also is a Caterham max tuned ever wrong except on an oval or something that just require top speed? That you can use in more races in international A I believe as the quattro can´t be detuned anything since I got it with most upgrades installed already.

Another car I really really liked is the GT 40 le mans prototype. I liked the 66 version a lot but the modern is better then then my two nissan GTR GT cars and Audi R8 LMS.

I used the Pagani Huayra 15th Anniversary Edition '13, detuned to 600PP running on Racing Hards, which the car tried to tell me at some of the tracks that it didn't like being in.
I'd tuned the car and used Bathurst as my test track and had clocked a 2.00.4, so non to pleased when in the race I let the 2nd place car, Nissan R92CP go pass me so I could use his draft, figured out where to do him on the last lap, where I could widen the lead so on the downhill section I would have enough gap to take 1st, only to go over the line with my plans ready and see the chequered flag.....4 laps not 5....gawddammit :)
Anyhow at Panorama got a 2nd with laps of 2.02's, Laguna 1st -1.22's, Spa 1st with 2.16's, Silverstone 1st with 1.58's and then finally the Ring. Got a 1st there but passing the Vette on lap 1 caught the grass and those racing hards don't like grass, so back down to 12th. Lap 2 get up to 3rd only to have the Sauber AI clip me and send me into a spin. Then when I do get into 1st the Nissan R92CP gives us a tap on the long straight as you go under the bridge......brown trouser time trying to keep that under control while maintaining the lead to win the Championship.

The Pagani Huayra 15th Anniversary Edition '13 - not really recommended as not a nice car on the racing tyre but some close racing with a few "raise the heart rate" moments.

BMW V12 LMR stock, very nice ro drive and 616kW after oil change.
(and with no TC/ABS it is even some fun/challenge)

Alright thanks for the input guys.
I did it with the Corvette ZR1 (C6) LM Race Car '09...
Not a flawless one but did the job :-)
Sauber C9 was too heavy for me and the GT-R R35 Touring Car was like babysitting a child...
