I'm sure everyone has an opinion on this so I will ask: What is the best car for mopping up the misc races that haven't been finished. Not a car that must be won, but one that can be bought and highly tuned.

I look forward to reading the responses.

Well for me its the
Ford Cobra - for the slower races.
Doge viper concept - for the mid to higher end races.
Lotus V8 ES or Sport 350 - for the highest end races.

BTW welcome to GTPlanet Dr. C

Nissan Skyline R34
Mine's Lancer Evolution VI

TVR Tuscan Speed Six
Lotus Esprit Sport 350

Nissan 390R
Mazda 787B

Well, Dr. C, here is a prescription for ya;

1. This topic should have been posted in this forum if it is about GT3. (which i presume this is)

2. The cure for your problem may be the Dodge Viper GTS, Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R34) or maybe a Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupe

3. My suggested treatment is to do a search next time you want to post a topic (to make sure it hasn't been done before) then make sure you are in the right forum (so your topic doesn't have to be moved) and then sit back and relax, and post some more at these awesome forums. :)

Welcome to GTPlanet!

for beginner and amateur- skyline r-34 v-specII
for pro: r-390 roadcar or gt-0ne road car

:tk: ZZII for all of them (prefibily by me)

If you don't want it to take too long just use a F1. If you want some compition use the Esprit 350. The Castrol Supra is good too.

I have to cast my vote for the Vertigo, but the Camaro Race car is pretty good once tuned. The Verigo really emphasizes handleing over horsepower, but it is excellent in stock form.
