Best car for Nurburgring 4h

I'm looking to do the 4h Nurburgring race but I dont want an over powered car. I want a car that will give me a challenge but keep me with the leaders. If not a particular car, whats a good HP range to enter the race with? I realised that if I go with just under the top HP car, I can still get ahead easily.
 
A good car for the race is the Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car...
It tops out at 527 BHP and will give you a fun and challenging race ;)
 
I used the premium AEM modded Honda S2000. Kept the race competitive. Just make sure you pit regularly. The first time I played I got 9 laps in and decided I could push it one more lap and got caught with my pants down 3 minutes into the lap.
 
Lexus IS F. Use Soft Racing Tyres. You pit every 3-4 laps..On the 4th lap tyres are totally worn
 
SLS AMG ( special edition ) is the best car for me to race in this track
 
I used the Ford GT last time. Just don't over-tweak it. It stayed pretty competitive and its a challenge to keep it on the track. I think I'm going with the RM Elise next time.
