Best car for the 24 Minutes of Le Mans?

I have tried the following cars in the 24 Minutes of Le Mans to no avail:
Jaguar XJ8 '88
Bentley Speed 8 '03

granted, that is only two cars, but I was positive that it was a sure win using both of those.
Any pointers?

It does lose - I did that the other week and lost big time.

the other cars will pit up to twice I think and you dont have to at all so unless you wreck multiple times and drive backwards I cant see how you can loose

have they changed this in a recent update or something?

Last time I did it with the Jnr I came last because it lacks top speed and the AI are the same as if you used an LMP.

Not sure when it was fixed, but it was certainly a glitch.

I used Mazda 787b, pitted twice and baby it at half throttle on the last lap so i had enough fuel for last lap. Still won by 40 seconds or something like that.

I used the Chaparral 2J and when day turned to night found out it's got no lights . Won the race anyways with the TV on 100% brightness.

Thanks for the tip! I used the 787B and timed my pit stops almost perfectly. I used racing hards the whole time, and the thing still had grip! And, I had plenty of fuel for the last lap (3 pit stops)
