Best Car Sound by categories?

I have driven many cars through the game, own quite a nice collection now and have my own persoanl favourites.

What are your thoughts for the nicest sounding cars in these categories?

Muscle
Tuner
Race
Supercar
German
Rally
 
Muscle - Mach 1 Mustang
Tuner - Not sure yet
Race - 787B MAZDA
Supercar - SVT Lambo
German - M5 BMW
Rally - Focus WRC
 
Castrol Tom's Supra 98' has a Very nice sound from Chase Cam, A delicious Roar if you have a Subwoofer.

As far as that I havn't had any cars that have really grabbed me from their audio.
 
Race - Nissan R92CP and Mercedes CLK Touring Car both sound very satisfying

I find the Daihatsu Midget surprisingly nice on the ears too :)
 
You missed a category of Historic Racers: In my opinion the 330 P4 is on top in that category because it sounds like an F1 car just a bit quieter.
 
I don't know what category this falls into, but I love the sound of the '67 Mark IV Ford Race Car. If you haven't tried that yet you owe it to yourself to give it a whirl. It's so visceral and alive. At low revs it pops and sputters and burbles then as the revs climb and gradually turns into a roar with both rumble and high pitched sounds mixed together. It's been my best engine sound by far.

You know the sound of someone passing you and their exhaust is the one that's like the Ford GT race cars? Best sound in the game.

Muscle: Shelby Cobra (let it idle and you'll see why)
Tuner: R35 GT-R

Supercar: McLaren F1
German: This is a tough one, it's a tie between the 08' BMW M5 and the 08' MB C63 AMG
Rally: Attempted any Rally events just yet
