Hi, I am new here. I am a level 19 driver and i have won the polyphony digital cup, and I can't seem to get the Gran Turismo all stars series down. My cars keep up for a little bit but they eventually pull away. What would be a good car to get that i could use and win? I have been saving for my favorite car, Mazda 787B, and was just wondering what I could get with this much? Thanks in advance!

My advice:
ignore GT All Stars ad grind high XP races until you get to

Like the Wind,

buy a Covette ZR1 and Race Modify + full tune,

win Like the Wind,

get Toyota Minolta

Win GT All Stars

This is good advice. 👍 Alternatively, do B-Spec ntil your driver can win the NR-A Roadster Cup. You win the Mazda Furai Concept; put racing softs on, and up the downforce. You can win both Like the Wind races like this to get the Minolta Toyota.

There aren't many good cars I can think of in the $1.2M range anyway. The Le Mans cars and the FGT are around $3-4M, as I recall. The JGTC cars are in the $750k range.

Just buy the ZR1 and Race Mod it 👍

It's the best investment you'll make in the game. Seriously.

You're only spending half of your 1.2 mil too :)

Save for the FGT. I just pop Bob in it while I'm too busy to race and have him earn his keep. It's a good car to blast away the competition at the Indy 500 too if you just want the XP and prize car.

Indeed, save up for something really good.
Alternatively the ZR1 RM is a safe bet.
Also, for something cheaper and pretty sweet you could look into the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo. I think it's only 250k and it's fast and playful (and premium).

Hate to bump my old thread but the ZR1 I had and it was a big waste of money. Fully tuned, RM and all, coming in 11th place at Indy in like the wind.

Did you fully tune it, then RM it?

Because if you did you may find all of the bits you stuck on have come off when it's been race modded and you need to go round putting them back on again.

Look at how much HP you have and look at what sort of top speeds you're getting - it should be easily hitting +220mph, and it should be enough to blow away the competition

I race modded it and than put the stuff on. And seriously 5 minutes after I posted my last post I just won Like the Wind with the Corvette..haha. Thanks guys!
