Try "slower" cars and differsnt drivetrain layouts.
For FF cars I would say:
Civic Type R
Trial Celica
Ford Focus ST/-RS

FR
BMW Z4
Toyota FT 86 Concept
BMW M3

MR
Lotus Elise
Honda NSX (Type S, type R...)

AWD
Lancer Evo
Subaru Impreza
Skyline GTR

RR
Alpine Renault
Ruf RGT

I recomend Sport softs and stock cars (without any tuningparts). The more you testdrive the better you will get
=> you can tune the cars with the FC Suspension and other non power/weight influencing parts.
And after that it´s up to you adding power or removing weight.
But I like the Cars stock (adding all non power/weight influencing parts) maybe the chip tuning and the Window/Hood weight reduction.

And the best tip: Just do it :D (Or: Just drive it !)

I'd say somthing like a type r civic rm or maybe an Evo with sport softs and about 380 bhp.

The premium Nissan Yellowhat, fully tuned. And if you put racing softs under there you can move how you want. It`s a perfect not too fast car.

If you want to learn the track etc.. I would recommend you starting wiht a AWD because you wont have to bother with trottle control or other stuff much, just learn the line.

The Cusco subaru impreza GT300 car is the perfect car to learn a track, quite fast but plenty of control everywhere. I would recommend that. Racing hard tyres.

When you're comfortable with it you could pass to something like the subaru super touring car, then pass to super gt cars (calsonic GTR35 or other model)

Personally I would suggest doing the special events to learn the track. They break the track down into 4 sectors so you can continue to repeat just one section at a time to really get it down before moving on to the next.

can some one please tell me which is the best car to learn Nurbergring track :indiff:

You don't want to go with something that's too fast because you won't be able to recognize each turn and how to properly take them so I would suggest a lightly modded Subaru WRX STI on SS tires to really get a feel for the track. You also don't want anything too slow because each turn will feel like a piece of cake and you will not get a good feel of the track.

I learned it using a 60 camero but that could just be me
First of all Chevy didn't make the Camaro until '67.
Second of all it's not Camero, it's Camaro.

LOL man, I'm a real critic when it comes to that stuff. I love Camaros :D

I'd say maybe learn it in the Art Morrison Corvette. Classic car with modern handling.

The handleing blows on that car.

I'm sorry, but on sports tires the Elise is a monster, it slaughters just about any other street car on the Ring.

I don't think so. I just took it out for a spin, no aids, and I was all over the track. Mustang GT or Camaro/Corvette would probably chew it in a race.

That's due to the high horsepower to weight ratio, I never said it was easy:P

You definetly can learn the Nordschleife with every car with less than 300 Horsepower.
I would say the MX-5 is a nice car.

Light, not to slow and very neutral to drive.

another idea is to watch some videos online from an interior view of someone doing laps - theres some good ones on Bridge to Gantry of a guy giving a corner by corner commentary - very interesting as he points out landmarks for the corner turn in points...

👍

I agree with the MX-5 idea.

I think a MX-5 would be too slow. I know it is a bit of a exaggeration but I don't think you'll learn much if you can drive the whole track flat out.
I think you need something to give you a little better idea of the stuff you need to brake for.

An MX-5 is pretty quick when tuned up...
