Best car to this Races?

So, I'm in a strange position and I hope someone can advice me.

I'm about to do the Gran Turismo All Stars in the expert series. Right now I don't think I have a car good enough to do so but I have 4 millions in my pocket. I was planning on getting the Peugeot 908 MATMUT to tackle it (I've heard the car is good enough to do it) but after taking a look to the extreme series I'm not so sure about it. Do you think that I can win the Gonne like the wind event with the Peugeot?.

Since there's no restriction in any of the 2 races I was also thinking that I could save some more and try to beat the 2 races (All Stars and "Gonne like. . ") with the Formula Gran Turismo and also use it for the Formula event.

In a few words, I'm looking for the cheapest car that can win this 2 races XD.

Thanks in advance and Sorry for my horrible english.

Well, I won both Competitions with my Peugeot 908 HDI FAP -Team Total, no problem on stock settings. (bought it and took it racing right away) and won with a minimum 2 second gap with each race (the allstars race was a pain in the butt because of the Minolta Toyota that was constantly kissing my butt :grumpy: ) but i still managed to gold all races, so yes you should be fine with the MATMUT 908.

Be warned tho, as i have come to notice, the rear end of my Peugeot likes to constantly step out, which is challenging especially with no assists (not even ABS or TCS :) ) but once you master it, its a breeze to win sorta. Hoped this helped

I managed to do them in my fully tuned Veyron, I definately wouldn't recommend it though. It took a lot of hard work and patience, and some luck on the opponents.

As for the Peugot, I would try and pick up a Toyota GT-One in the UCD if possible, it's only 2.9mil and its just as good as the 4mil peugot.

The GT-one is in the online dealer right now, I would buy the FGT though. You can easily win all those races and then some with that 👍

Ps. Am I the only one who LOLd at this thread title?

All right, thanks guys. I think I'll go for the MATMUT or the toyota and start saving for the FGT (I just love the looks of the 908:)) And yes, it's a strange title XD.

I also bought the 908 HDI FAP- Team total pretty much because it looks good. Although It is, as previously stated, very tail happy out of a corner but a very good car.

If you won the Zonda R in B Spec, you can win with that pretty easy too.

Or else buy the Mazda 787B and crush the opponents :) I will never regret 1 credit spent on that car!

The peugeot 908 will win both, it has fantastic acceleration as well.

Threads merged. One is enough.

The 908 is a fine looking, fine handling and ahs fine speed. First LMP car I bought. Go for it. It will serve you well and is perfectly capable of tackling the all stars. You will face cars of the same magnitude there, but they are just AI...

It's also one of the only three premium LMP/Group C cars in the game. Would prefer it over the Toyota also because of that.
