Ok, so right now I'm just testing and tuning to see which car I such use for the 24 hours. I have a 787B, a Minolta, a C60 Hybride, and an Audi R10 TDI. I'm clueless on which one to use. Any advice? Are there any other cars I should look for?

The Minolta is a given to be in the event, the 787B would be a great chose if your able to keep the rear tires from burning off. That if your running with all add off and no power adders. The R10 wouldn't be able to keep up with the speed but with the right setup you'll make fewer stops. So you may be able to get a lap on the field if it's done right. The C9 Benz or the SLK Le Mans would be two other good cars as well.

Yeah, use the X2010, or 2011 if youre getting the DLC

it turns a 24 hour race into an 18 hour race 👍

BUT.......... it is 18 hours of boredom :ouch:

I would use the 787B myself. Soft tyres on front and hard on rear and off you go for what should be a good race for the most part.

For a real challenge use your power limiter and reduce it a little and then race, you will have an amazing race and will have to fight every step of the way to win, the question is though; can you handle losing if it does not go according to plan? One incorrect pit and it could all be over :boggled:

What about the Toyota GT ONE? Would that work? If you don't have it ...
You can win it from the 24 hours of le mans in B-spec.

That's why you use racing hard tyres or lower, then if anything goes disastrously wrong just bolt on the new racing softs and you'll catch up in no time.

Using the X1 would tire me out a few hours in, trying to keep up with it's speed etc.

I'd use the GT-ONE or the C9, but I haven't had the time to take it on, and I wanna get some of the seasonals out of the way.

I'm currently doing it in a stock 908. It's fast enough that mistakes won't cost me the race, but slow enough that the race is still interesting.

2 and a half hours in, about a 3 minute lead.

I'm using Racing Softs, but there's not very much difference between softs and hards. Both compounds lasted 8 laps for me, and the hards were only a couple seconds a lap slower.

Few rough calculations say that if your doing 3:30 lap times you should be on about lap 43 and that your pulling away by just over 4 seconds a lap.

Hopefully those "couple" of seconds are actually more than 4 so the AI will actually start catching you again. Stick the hards on I say and try make it a proper race!

^Every time I start the game, it feels different. First time, I was doing constant 3:28s on softs, then 3:32s on hards, then the next time I played I was doing consistent 3:25s, today when I played some more I could not break 3:29 on softs.

I'm pulling away from 2nd place even on hard tires.

Absolutely; always carry a full quota of tires into an enduro!

I can't wait to do mine, gunna do it with some mates and a few (a lot) of beers lol

To the OP: make sure you read my "how close was your enduro" thread & let us know how you go :)

Just 3hrs 44mins into the race with a stock 787B stealth.
Normal racing tyres, pit every 8 laps.
Amazing car with an incredable sound!
Laps around 3'23.xxx up to 3 '27.xxx
Currently 2 laps in front, hopefully I can keep it that way during the night.
I can highly recommend the Mazda!
It's pretty fast, which is good cause I'm not racing 24hrs to come in 2nd ;)

Hi, Any of your four cars will easily win if tuned. The Toyota Minolta 88C being the fastest (1040Hp @ 850 Kg). Also try out a Peugeot 905 '92 (UCD 5Mil.) tuned it's 889Hp @ 750Kg... Look for this one !!... awesome power to weight ratio too, even better than a tuned 908 !!. As it's lighter it's more nimble around the twisty bits and a lot easier on the RS tires (don't bother with hard or medium, you'll slip and slide too much and wear them out quicker than softs). Use the curbs at Sarthe, I think it's pink cement. Stay off the high curbs at Nurburg or you WILL loose control. I also set the front toe angle to minus 0.10 and leave the rear toe at plus 0.20 on most of my cars... helps me... Have fun.

Hi, Yes the Toyota GT One '99 will do for Sarthe too. RS tires, tune it up (929Hp @ 900Kg.) and only 3 Mil. UCD in credits if you haven't won it yet. Set front toe angle to minus 0.10, rear toe to minus 0.20 for better cornering...use the curbs... Have fun.

All will do. If your trying to just win without fun do the fgt. Lol. Bur I like the 787b because the sound of the quad rotor.
You obviuosly have'nt done the 24 hr race or driven the FGT. It does not have lights. Are you just trying to get your post count up LOL

I am using a Mclaren F1 Stealth.

Madness! I don't know how you can manage (although I haven't driven my Stealth post 2.0) but that car, while fast, is fairly unwieldy even against GT cars.

How is it?

Still doing it.

The race started out under full wet so the AI going slow slow and me going slow makes it fun.

I'm about 9 hours in with a Peugeot 908 de-tuned to 550hp. Its very slow down the straights but makes up for it from the Porsche Curves down to Tetre Rouge.

I could probably be over a lap ahead by now but I had a nightmare lap that took about 2 minutes more than it should plus when I saw the gap get too big I switched to medium or hard tyres.

If your up for a massive challenge go for a 908 with around 500hp.

You sure your in a 787B, your laps times are in the X2010 band and X2010 fuel last 8 laps where Group C and LMP last between 10 and 12 laps.

sorry it was late ;) buy yes I drive 787B stealth.
Laps vary from 3'23.xxx up to 3'27.xxx
Still have to pit every 8 laps though...

Geez, how do you do that? I'm currently practising with the normal 787B (wanna use that one and don't have the 787B stealth) in its stock form (no turbos etc) and I lap around 3m36... There's no way I'm gonna win the 24h race with these lap times... I'm using racing hard tyres, maybe I'd better switch to softer tyres, hehe. What tyres are the AI using for the 24h Le Mans race?
