Best car under 400PP?

I've been trying to complete the World Compact Car seasonal but I can't beat the Nurburgring. I've been using a Hommel Berlinette with 399PP but I still finish 9 seconds behind the leader. What did everyone else use for this?

To answer the question, I think I used an MX-5...probably the premium NC. You could also try an Elise. If nothing else, try using the same car as the leader.

The race is, in my opinion, more about knowing the track and figuring out the traffic pattern and where to pass. Being aggressive in the first couple sectors should help gain some time on the leader.
