Best color schemes for the tach and speedometer?

Hi guys,

Just wondering what you guys have found to be your favorite combinations of color for the gauges; I really like to change them around for some reason I have it on gold + gold and looks quite good. Yellow and blue looks good also, with yellow being the gauge color and blue being the ring.

I am sure certain colours schemes reduce strain for the eyes scientifically for daytime driving/nighttime driving

My setting is the reverse of this, though sometimes the white outline turns gray. Not sure why this happens.

It's just clutching at straws but really what else is there to talk about obviously the op still has a real passion for gt and will talk about anything that will occupy his mind whilst waiting for updates.....

Really what else can you expect when there is so little content to talk about that has not been covered by the GT5 section of this forum?

I have blue/blue, but I would REALLY like the possibility to have a dimmer on this (and also for the rest of the race information.
Everything is too bright for night racing imo...

Red and red is most friendly for night time driving, but there is so much other clutter that is white that it makes no difference.

I usually try to match the dial colour with the colour of the car I'm driving (OCD) while keeping the outline colour to red. I wish they allowed for more customisation for the HUD colours or even allowing custom colours. Little things like allowing you to customise HUD colours in the first place is something I appreciate.

Same here. I find anything other than white for the dials to be too distracting. But the red accenting at night just gives it a badass look

The outline colour only lights up at night. You can see it very vaguely during daytime. The dials are on all the time.
