I did search "Driving song" but nothing came up this side of 2003. So I thought I'd make this thread. Just post your personal favourite driving song, for me I nominate 'Kickstart My Heart' by Motley Crue.

'Skyscraper' by Daiki Kasho.

...and 'Autonomy' by Cubanate.

A lot of classic rock is also great for driving.

At the risk of being booed off the Forum:

"Beat it" by Michael Jackson. That Eddie Van Halen guitar, makes you HAVE to drive fast.

And "Put Some Drive in Your Country" by Travis Tritt.

And who of us old guys (besides Duke) doesn't get a heavy foot when "Life in the Fast Lane" by the Eagles comes on the radio?

From Top Gear,

Golden Earring - Radar Love
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild

Some I know,

Cozy Powell - Dance With The Devil
UNKLE - Burn My Shadows
UNKLE - Broken (Instrumental)
UNKLE - Chemistry
Elvis Presley (Junkie XL Remix) - Little Less Conversation

I'll go along with the Motley Crue number remember that from GT4,also for some reason Sammy Haggar's cant drive 55 always wants me to get a speeding ticket.:nervous:

"Beat City" by The Flowerpot Men :p
"Saints of Los Angeles" by The Crue
"East Bound and Down" by Jerry Reed :D

EVERYONE SONG BY YUZO KOSHIRO!!

Maker of the Wangan midnight soundtrack.

Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 Original Soundtrack

Glad to hear that others like Golden Earring, it is too my favourite song, and now most listened to song by a mile.

Get the Funk Out by Extreme
Red Barchetta By Rush
Mad About You by Slaughter
Jet City Woman by Queensryche

I could go on if you wish

"The Love Bug Theme" - George Burns.

Seriously. Yeah, It's cute...but somehow, it makes you want to go ridiculously fast...

Give it a chance. It starts slow but builds a ton. Right at about 2:40 it kicks in.

Great song in it's own right, but dangerous in a car. I've wanted to make a drift video to this song, because it would make a great montage - but alas, I'm missing the time, software, parts, and probably skill to do so.

I'd have to go with Riviera Paradise by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Great song anytime, especially nice when you're taking it easy.

Good song, the video is really crap though IMO.

Heres one I like.

For just cruising at a brisk pace through some twisties:

This really "kicks in" at around 2'15. Make sure you have a nice set of speakers.

Rantoul - The Ladder

Otherwise I have my music off so I can listen to what the car is telling me.

Great song for cruising at night, or just about any other situation.

I find that Act the Fool by Ludacris is good when hanging around the street racers too.
