best DTM-/racecar lvl 23+?

so i'm lvl 23 now, grinding money on indy with my corvette ZR-1, racemodded and tuned (675 kw / 1100 kg). almost got 5 million credits now, and before i just click on some new car, buy it, find out that it's crap, and go on grinding, i wanted to ask for the best/most usefull car i can buy with that money on that level. looks like most expert-races can only be won with those "real" racing cars / DTM-cars / GT-thingys.

but it seems there is only one single NEW car available, which is the audi R10 (?) TDI (which has close to 500 kw and 925 kg). is this already tuned to the max, or can i tune it further? how does it compete against the used cars that randomly apear, like the 787B(?) or the sauber mercedes? is it faster then my ZR-1? i'd really like to have a premium car, but i'm not sure if the only premium car is good enough.

My advice is to keep saving so you can by a F1 car to complete the event at lvl 23. 10 million credits is the cheap one I believe. I completed the other stuff with cars I already had. The only car I needed to purchase was the ISF Concept race car it was 750,000.00 credits.
 
hm dont know if i want to buy a F1 car and only be able to use it in one race/cup.
 
You CAN'T use the F1 car in ANY event. Only practice and Arcade. You need a Formula GT from the used car lot.
 
the best car I have so far, is the Toyota Minolta that you win in A-spec Like the Wind event. Race car that can be modded to 1055 hp 38.0 lap on indy.
 
for the deutsche touring c'ship, the lexus IS-F concept will do.
 
Buy a Peugeot 908 Hdi Fap. Speed and aerodynamics are great. 👍

thx, for the info, i've seen some dtm in the used dealership but they where at around +1million credits. Now i can have a cheaper premium car and better looking too.

any goodtip about the car to use for the American race series?

I also need a NASCAR and then a F1 car, and i only have 1.3 millions at the moment...

think i'll gonna need to use my b-spec driver a lot cause i need cash...
 
Race modded zr1 corvette will destroy everything in the Us championship. Really worth the price.

the RM ZR-1 might be worth the try, a lot of people attests to it and have won the US Series (and other c'ships as well) with it. haven't tried it tho personally, might get one after i get bored with the grind. btw, i finished the german c'ship under B-spec with the IS-F, so it should be easier to win the same c'ship under A-Spec.

wrt to Formula GT, you can't use the F10 or F2007 in it. it specifically requires the Formula Gran Turismo. i think it's 4.5mil, and you have to hunt it over at the used car lot. so have that 4.5mil ready and don't spend beyond that as the chances of it appearing again are slim (based on the threads around here about it).

And i suppose the easiest way to win money is the 'Like the wind' Oval race...

Still got a lot to do then, luckily i have the ZR-1 completly upgraded except RM, i find the normal version bettere looking.

Does RM really improve something on the car except the look(not always!)

It doesn't make the car more powerfull and i don't think it change anything on
the weight. But maybe the better aerodynamics improve the handling and grip.

have some problems with the nascar school on hard to get the 1 and last gold trophy.

(the one with the pitstop first and the 2 laps on indianapolis) best position i manage is
3rd..., if you got any tips...

I'm not tourist but if you haven't already done so, then turn off ASM.
There is 2 ways to do this, either turn off ABS (which also disables ASM) or directly do it in race with either the DFGT tuning wheel (red one) or map the controller/wheel to suit you.


And like Novice said, I also used the IS-F Concept for the DTM races with no mods and racing hards.

Yup thats pretty much the solution.
Had some problems too, but without abs is easy. you can go through those corners waaay faster.

I didnt even need a push in the pit event. If you drive clean you take the first one on the last straight by drafting the second :D

I didnt gold them on first try. Sometimes its tricky with DQ by ramming other NASCARS but if you try couple times you should be able to do it.

You have to turn off ABS in all three events! Forgot about it in the third and tried 3-5 times for nothing :( Because you dont have a chance with ASM/ABS on
