I was wondering what gt (supergt300 supergt500 lmgt etc) handles the best and sounds the best. I just want a few opinions, THANKS!!

For the GT500 class, try the Honda HSV. They handle very well even if you do nothing to the suspension.

For GT300, the newer RX7 sounds cool, especially at idle. In dealership it's under amemiya or something like that.

The RE Amemiya GT300 RX-7 is one of my favourite cars in the game. It's waaaay better than the others in it's class (unless you can get a hold of the Autobacs Garaiya which is almost as good IMO).

I like the Raybrigg NSX or the stealth model for GT500. Or the HSV of course (you might love/hate the engine sound though). The HSV is definitely alot easier to drive than the other GT500 cars.

Very broad. I'll break it down:

GT500 - A HSV or NSX
GT300 - ARTA Garaiya
GT3 - Depends. Z4 or SLS.
LMGT - McLaren F1 GTR (Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing)

Like the Oreca Viper by any chance? It's twitchy, but almost as enjoyable as the F1 GTR.
I do, I do! If I had to choose, the F1 would be my very favourite car in GT though so the Viper doesn't get as much track time.

I see in your sig you are confused too about karts with TC... great minds think alike, do they not?

The greatest JGTC has to be the 1998 Castrol Tom's Supra, the premium one. It's just superb to drive, and has been a favourite of mine since Gran Turismo 3.

As for the GT3 class, I hate to say it but the BMW Z4 is fantastic in the corners.

There is no GT3 M3...

Righty ho, for GT500, GT6 has given us the holy cornering machine - AKA the SC430.

Using RS, and a really quick basic tune, I started my normal test lap around Suzuka. Going into turn 1, I applied the brakes and started to turn in at my normal point (the one i'm used to for the HSV and NSX).

It gripped so hard and aggressively that I almost turned it straight into the infield. This car knows no limits when cornering. It's so balanced and beautiful. It's like an LMP but without all the slidey drama, but more and more and more grip.

Really? I've always ignored that Lexus based on what I've read about the road car. I remember one magazine referring to it as a woeful hunk of expensive metal, or words to that effect anyway. And I don't remember Jeremy Clarkson being kind about it either (not that his opinion is gospel). If it's as good as you say, I may have to give it a whirl. As long as I can get over the hideous looks!

Op says; sounds the best :sly:

Super GT500 cars don't have a lot in common with their respective road going versions.

No, I know really. It's just when I see a car described as being clumsy I don't always look to it's racing counterpart and think well, it might be better in race spec. Although it can't be any worse I suppose :sly:.

I know what you mean, the SC430 is a heavy, soft cruiser built mainly for the US market.
The race car took both the driver and constructor championships in its last season (2013) and have now been replaced by the RC F. Still, not bad for an old girl to finish an 8 year Super GT career with the championship double.

Yeah ,your totally right! I have seen the road one a dozen times. but I don't like it its so ugly. But I :) the racing one.
