What is your best GT moment? I have had a few.

First, it was the I-A license test with the Corvette on the wet 60m circle. My siblings could not beat it no matter how hard they tried. Maybe they were spoon fed on TCS and ASR too much, but on my 5th try, I beat the test by DRIFTING the vette all the way through the test, yes, drifting, not cruising...

Then, it was when I started beating professional races with the unmodified Falcon XR8. Who would think a huge V8 racer with a horrible weight bias and wicked tire wear could consistently beat a tuned Elise, the biggest go-kart ever made that can pull G's like an F-14?

Finally, I took the Subaru Rally Car, and to my surprise, I was able to beat all the Arcade mode races on Hard with it!

actually buying the game... i was so hyped up about it.

racing tho?
I have had plenty of close races. beating the pro S+B in a mainly stock 3400s was pretty amazing tho

Mine was beating the final time trial at complex string. :D

And every other time I did something, that I thought was impossible. And GT3 has been full of such moments for me, I guess that's just one of the reasons, that I love this game so much. :)

my best no doubt was beating the S licencse! yeah i thought i never could be able to beat it.. but i did :sly:

Beating the license (I don't remember what) with the RUF RGT in Complex String doing the firsts S corners (both licenses).

And other happy moment was when I get the rally license (R-5 to R-8 were a pain!!).

And of course when I get 100%.

my best gt3 moment was when i brought home my new logitech wheel for the gt3. man that thing is bad ass.

my best moment was when i was racing a buddy and he was using Viper GTS and i had my Supra and in that little turn at midfeld i hit the Hand break and slid hit him with my back end and we where neck and neck down the stright and i beat him by 0.007 never will for get that

my best moment is when i finally beat the F1 cup. it took me forever to beat that but i did and i was so pumped.

Best moment was probably watching that Lenny Kravitz ending movie thingy.

When I won my first F1 (F090/S), finished the rally races to get my 'Scudo, and finished the S-1 lisence test, though I cannot beat anymore

In reality those big v8 falcons are really really fast around tracks. Much more so than the lotus exige. :p

My best moment was the first time i played gt3 using my wheel, simulation tyres, and a stock trueno. I took that baby to complex string and powerslid the middle 3 constant radius turns.

It looked just like tiff needel does it in top gear, and no other racing sim can get close to that feel (and i mean NO other racing sim, not even lfs).

GT4 is going to be a mind**** compared to gt3!!

When I realized just what GT was. I thought it was just some boring stupid racing game, but my friend who knew I was into cars told me that I HAD to borrow his PS2 (I didnt have one which would explain why i didnt know about GT) to try it. I loved it to death. That was probably the best moment.

Standard answers: the first time playing any of the new bought GT games. And first time I got 1:st place in tt10 in GT3

watched initial d on dvd  then found my trusty trueno ae86 ss version tweeked the setup and got sideways, 90 degrees style :D

once i fell into a partial sleepround trial mountain and still finished first.:p but i think we all have had 1 of those moments

I think piloting a C5-R through the back straight at Tokyo was a pretty amazing experience - just the sensation of speed.

Passing the F1s in a real racer-style at Rome as well, being much later on the brakes into the first of the double-90 right handers at the end of the lap.

Going back to the Zonda challenge after doing some co-operative online racing, and finding that I was six seconds faster than I used to be.

Alot of those were good replies. Some drew me back to a time long forgotten... the days of really just getting up to par on the game. (sorry if that sounds insulting. Just meant getting up to the point of never having a close race for the reasons we used to.)

The F1 circuit and the stock car racing series are hard. First time you go through the game, you're lucky to win every series without a re-load at some point. I've only won the f1 series once and it didn't include the 78 @ monaco.

I remember struggling with the S license and I still haven't even thought of getting all gold S. So if I could get all gold on my licenses I would be happy and consider myself a pro class driver after that.

I can also remember individual victories that were really close, and those are always fun. ;)

Anyway, catch you guys later, and keep at the game. :D

My best GT moment will be when i'm placing GT4 into the disc tray.
Just hope I don't have a heartattack with anticipation and exitement

My best GT3 moment just happened a few minutes ago. I beat Complex String with the RUF in Time Trial (Arcade Mode) and for the first time won an actual race car worth half a million bucks!

Watching the game in action for the first time. I was previewing the test course and listening to the 787b scream by made me melt in my seat

When I raced my friend on complex string and he had the Escudo and I have the S2000 and I smoked him. That was great I will never let it go.:trouble:

Ok here is my best/worst GT moment, i had bought gt3 and went home to play it (was so tempted to just take a ps2 out of the nearest myers or K-mart and find the closest powerpoint:p) and when i got home straight to the ps2, i turn it on, pres the eject button and the disc tray would not open, i kept trying but nothing i was devistated lol...

So like any 13 year old ( i was 13 back then..or 12...i dont remember lol) i ran out and told the parents just so i could tell somebody, i was about to much around with it and try open the disc tray myself with a screw driver or something:odd: but mum and dad instisted sending it to sony wich is in a different city from where i live (sydney) and it was there for 2 weeks...2 F@#%$ WEEKS!!! When it finally came back i was excited as a dog waiting for its dinner because i had gt3 just sitting there for 2 weeks (i got it the day it was released and was yet to play it) and i had not been able to play it...just stare at the cover:(. Yes...that was my worst/best GT moment...oh the memories.

Best moment for me was winning the F1 Championship with the Nissan R390. Running the series as a series, not individual races and not skipping any races. Very challenging, but a great sense of acomplishment when done.

I've had lots of moments, but today I had a moment too. I was going for gold on the Tahiti Circuit rally license test. I didn't work to get silver first and was trying and trying. It seemed impossible for me to beat it. The 10-15th time I tried I got gold immediately, whitout having silver first :) . That was a great moment

My best moment was probably when I got to play GT3 for the first time.
Other good moments happen when you complete an enduro, or a long series race. The anticipation of (hopefully) getting the car you want is, well, everyone knows the feeling, right?
The S-license completion was pretty good, too.

When GT4 is sitting in my playstation, I'm sure that I'll be even more happy.

hiya! :D

I have two best moment.

1. When I finally understand how to Tune different cars I like and understand when to brake and accel at corners and turns. This was in the beginning because I was used to those Arcade style-like racing games. Although I never played 1 and 2 that time, I didnt want Gran Turismo 3 because I like Arcade racing games. Until I heard about this game so many times at school that I decided to give it a try. I thought it was hard because I keep crashing on everyturn. Then as I practice more and more, I begin to luv it more and more  It was all thnks to the Toyota Supra that started all the luv for this game :D

2. when I got 100% :) :D :O ;)
