whats the best or hardest challenge you have set yourself?

I.e specific car in a certain race, or championship

Feel like we could share some challenges as the network is down. And i have to say its a lot more satisfying winning a race when you actually deserve it and not just maxed out a top car

Mh, I have to say the most "satisfactory" race series I won were the Super GT race series with a rmed NSX, even maxed out the car is over 100hp less powerfull than the AI, however winning is possible after 1-2 tries.

But the most challenging race you get not by trying to compete with the AI with an underpowered car, but when you set your own goals. Try to do a clean, fast lap with the X2010 or the Yellowbird on the ring. It's incredible hard to do and you need a lot of practice for it, but when you manage to do it, it's very satisfactory.

Golding the Vettel Challenge onehanded ;)

No, but seriously: doing any race from professional upwards with a recommended, stock car with at least two tire tiers worse than the competition. - may not be extremely difficult, but fun and some tight fights!

I really enjoyed Schwartswald B Nurburgring in a showroom fresh C63. This can get really hard if there's an SLS near the front of the pack from the start. Plus on sports hard, the car is really slippy.

Most satisfying: completing the advanced GT rally--it completed my last rally gold in both GT and Loeb.

Runner Up (so far): doing the 9 hour Tsukuba endo in A Spec (used the Toms Supra).

Most challenging (pre-Vettel): the stupid Elise at Top Gear. OMG.

Yeah, I thought that elise challenge was hard too, until I messed around with the traction control level and found myself in the lead just before the Hammerhead on lap 2, wondering what all the fuss had been about.

Most challenging is probably getting silver or gold on the Vettel challenge. Some of the license tests are difficult to gold as well.

If you're using the DS3 for this, you'll need a good supply of them - they break easily, especially when thrown at the wall.

A stock F-150 in the Daytona truck race is pure awesome. Everyone finished within 3/4 of a second when I did it.

:D I have two or three others on standby. I just need silver for another colored X1. I have a Prototype already so screw gold.

Special events:

-Mercedes-Benz AMG Expert / Whit the SLS in the rain is a good challenge.
-The Grand Tour challenge / The one on eiger is a pain in the butt.
-Licence S8 also with the Alfa C8 car :yuck: .

I like seeing how weak a car I can hold my own with on the GT All Stars Nurburgring race. The Le Mans cars usually smoke me down the straight so as long as I'm winning at the split at the start of the straight I consider it a success.

I like to set my own challenges now that I've gotten gold on pretty much everything in the game itself.
Right now I'm trying to set the best possible time on the 24h ring with a stock R33 Skyline.
But for added difficulty I don't write down the lap times where I've touched the curbs. Doing the most technical sections of that track without being able to use the curbs was harder than I thought. And it's fun to learn a car I initially didn't like really really well.

Lol - not touching the kerbs at Nurburgring! You must be able to make omlettes without breaking eggs as well!

:D LOL 1 whole time attack lap whitout hitting 1 kerb ? mission impossible! :p
They should give gold trophy for that

And why R33 ? u dont even like :p take a car u like. One that u would buy in real life if u had the money.

I've done all the licenses gold with a DS3. I've also golded Monza (vettel challenge) but Suzuka and Nurburgring are still bronze. It's gonna be tough trying to gold them with a controller. Bring It on Sebastian Vettel!!!

I like the R33 in real life, but when I bought it in the game it was a bit of a disappointment. But decided to stick with it and learn the car. That's what I like about stock cars, you can't adjust a million things to better suit your driving style, instead you yourself must adjust.

I started the 'no curb' just to add some difficulty once I had learned the car.
I find it makes you have to pick your lines more carefully. That being said I usually end up touching a curb, but then I just write the time down on my regular sheet, not the 'no curb' sheet. But I have around 10 laptimes with no curb touching. I also race without ABS so if you miss your braking point, lock up and start to slide and you will hit a curb.

The only hard challenge for me was Grand Tour Eiger Nordwand.
Took me 7 hours to gold, insane.
And as for the hardest challenge I've set to myself - Gold Standard.
The only things I got left are S.Vettel and 3 enduro races.
I'll gold Vettel when I get a wheel.

The Formula GT Championship can be nerve-wracking, as well as the Historic Cup if you don't use a Can-Am. I love racing it with my Camaro and trying to box out the Chaparrals and Toyota 7. 👍

+ 5 on the FGT - I ran them all individually before I went for the championship, just for the practice. Had to abandon Suzuka due to rain, but still made the big win. Didn't think much to the value of the prize car (Caterham Fireblade) - plus they keep popping up in the UCD. Would've preferred something a little rarer/more valuable.
