What are the best Horror Films you've seen?

I want to buy more horror (aka scary) Movies out there, these are the ones I have:

Ghost Ship
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 3
House on Haunted Hill
The Amityville Horror
The Evil Dead

I am bored watching the same movies over and over
Any others you recommend?
by the way make sure that they are colored, I hate Black and White movies

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Dead Alive (or Braindead depending on where you live)
Evil Dead 2

The original version of Night of the Living Dead is one of the best horror movies ever (maybe the best?). For some inexplicable reason, you don't like black and white films. I guess you'll just miss on of the best horror movies ever. The remake just isn't that good, so don't bother with it. It's in color, though. Dawn of the Dead was a great film; I haven't seen the new one that was just released, but that is supposed to be just as good.

Evil Dead 2, and Dead Alive mix comedy with horror, and the result in both is fantastic. If you liked Evil Dead, you'll definitely like both of these movies.

It's horrorish...

I would say The Ring or Dawn of the Dead, simply because DotD looks absolutely freaky and that little girl in The Ring freaked me out.

Evil dead 3: Army of darkness has me loling every time. Dawn of the Dead Rocks.

I agreed with the nomination for Alien, and I second it. Also Aliens (the James Cameron Sequel) is awesome too, totally kick ass. The third one is ok (has Charles S. Dutton in it and he owns) and the fourth one is utter trash.

Halloween (first two movies, not the crap that came after) that piano music...

Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candyman :D

The Ring wasn't bad, but I'm just getting sick of the bad "stop motion" effect in black and white, it's grossly overused.

Mention to Blair Witch Project: how to kick hollywood's ass on a budget...

I didn't think Ghost Ship was scary, but the first scene with the cutting cable was something.

They're not really scary, but suspensful none the less. Gothica and Taking Lives get my votes. I'm still waiting to see Dawn of the Dead.

I don't know if it's the best horror movie I've ever seen, but I really liked the new Dawn of the Dead.

Alien and Aliens are fantastic films, not that scary once youre over 10 but still fantastic films. Dawn of the dead is great, the new one is scarier than the old one but I like them both. The first time I saw Jaws I shat myself when that body popped out of the boat, I was 6 or 7 and dived over the back of the couch lol, I think that was the first film I saw where kids were getting killed. The original Haloween was good as well, but not that scary really.
