best lap times (not saved?)

Hi guys, I have noticed that my best lap times are not being saved. So every time I play the game I have no idea what my previous best lap time was?
Hope I make sense :/

ps. tried searching but only found info on saving best lap time replays?

Any help would be great.

Go into your options, and be sure that you have autosave enabled. Optionally, just make sure you do a save before exiting the game. Interestingly, I had this same problem with GT4 where it wouldn't save best lap no matter what I did. BTW, what mode are you playing? I'm guessing arcade mode and time trials?
 
Thanks for your reply dude. I have been mainly playing the Events (C-B-A & S) but have had the occasional multiplayer/online/time trial.. Still yet to have a "best lap time" before I start any race :(
Will check out the auto-save setting
 
I think that might just be how the game works. I always thought the "Best Lap Time" was your best lap from the race that you are currently in.

(If I understand you correctly.)
 
Every time I play the Time Trials, the Best Lap Time is my best so far in that session, but there is also another one called something like My Best Online Lap, or something along those lines. That one is my best I've done with that car on that track. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I'm signed into PSN, and my PS3 is connected to the internet, so after each Time Trial session, I exit, and it uploads/updates my fastest lap to the online rankings (never in top 100 :( ) but that best time always shows up when I take the same car and same track.
